There was no difference in my recordings when using the mic and not using the mic

If you take a lot of videos on your phone or digital camera and have noticed audio isn't great... this is what you need...just make sure it has batteries and its on.

Comes in handy when your not ready to cough up enough cash for a rode mic.

I read reviews for this product online prior to making a purchase and thought it might be a good backup option for a camera microphone on a B-ROLL camera. My experience was that I purchased it brand new in a crunch situation and it did not work. I am assuming the battery that came with the microphone was no good. The power light never was illuminated during use. I was upset that I wasted time and money on the purchase and forgot about it. I do a lot of traveling and I intended to return the item, but once I remembered it needed to be returned I had misplaced the receipt. I love BestBuy. But my past experiences with not having a receipt were more than aggravating.

My first purchase and works well. I use it for basketball games.

This mic didn't work at all. After trying a another battery beside the one it came with I returned it.

I'm surprised Best Buy is actually selling this product. My laptop and iPhone had better sound recording than this product. It does not work at all... in any setting or with or without the spongy thing.

I brought this microphone because i thought i might needed a better voice over stuff but turns out it is not doing its job but bring my audio the buzzing sounds, i wanted to return it but i've missed the date.

Bought this microphone and it was defective out Of the box and return and got a new one and we tested at the store and the second one didn't work either 2 mins defective

This microphone works but is poorly made. It is fragile and not made for professional or prosumer use. Spend the extra $50 for a Rode mic.

You get what you pay for, cheap price , cheap quality and materials. I'd rather get a Rode VideoMicro mic for a few dollars more

Didn't work out of the box. Took it back and exchanged for another brand.
