    I would not recommend this tripod. I purchased it this past week to take some basic photos and videos of the eclipse on April 8. The clamp to hold my phone would allow my phone to shift some, and was almost too small for my phone (Samsung S23 Ultra). When it came time to pack up, the bracing for the legs at the bottom ended up popping out of place. (See photo)

    BUYER BEWARE. THE BASE IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH OR HEAVY ENOUGH TO BE STURDY. WOBBLES AND EASY TO KNOCK OVER AT EXTENDED HEIGHT. PRICE IS A RIPOFF FOR THE LACK OF QUALITY. SPEND 80 FOR THE BETTER TRIPOD, AS THIS ONE IS WORTHLESS, AND BESTBUY RETURN WINDOW IS TERRIBLE.

    Cannot overstate the VALUE! For amateur / casual use it has it all: Extra-long, completely adjustable wand, desktop and stable floor tripod, pivot ball mount for any-angle adjustments, detachable blue-tooth remote, sturdy spring loaded mount. One could easily spend triple or more on hi-end separates for all these features.
