A great way to input a variety of chip sources into a single USB port. Most computers discontinued the chip reader features on their machines. This is a super way to have that advantage again for a very reasonable price without sacrificing a drive slot.

Wanted a more direct method of transferring pictures between camera and computer. This accepts multiple memory card configurations.

Works perfectly out of the box with Windows 10. Reads MicroSD directly, no need for a MicroSD to SD adapter.

Corrupts CF Cards

I would be very hesitant if purchasing this card reader. I bought one of these and it worked fine for my SD card at first. My camera has two card slots, one for SD and one for CF so I bought a CF card for backup purposes. Straight from the get go it had issues reading the CF card and eventually started corrupting it to the point where both my camera and card reader couldn't read it at all. At first I thought it was the CF card so I sent it back to Sandisk. When I got the replacement from them it started happening again. Also, right around the same time it ruined my first CF card it also damaged my SD card. Those cards together cost me around 200 dollars. I just bought a new all in one card reader today from a different company and it's having no issues reading either card. I suppose my card reader from Bower was just a lemon as I haven't seen any other reviews similar to mine. Regardless, it cost me a lot of time, money and headache (I lost photos for a client).
