They let you direct the sound to a specific space in the room while still being flush to the ceiling with their internal design. Awesome speakers!

Great in-ceiling sound

They currently are being used as my rear speakers. They could definitely stand alone as fronts as well. Great for the price.

Subtle Look w/a Great Sound
