Beautiful stands, it works well with my recent 805 D4 purchase. I did add sand into the stand and the added weight give my speakers a more solid sound and it also stands on the floor more securely. One star off on its price

A very good successor to the 805 D3

I own the 805 D3 The D4 is maybe 10 to 15% better in certain parts of the song when it is being played. It is a very revealing speaker very good for vocals and instrument detail your improvements that you can research internal matrix was improved a Twitter has been improved it’s a little bigger as well. Don’t get me wrong it is a very good speaker I have additioned it and I am impressed but for the $8000 for asking price not even counting the speaker stand I find it problematic at best at that price point I would say they’re not worth it. I’m not gonna devalue the rating of the speaker because it is a very good speaker but as an alternative if you can find yourself a bowers and Wilkins 805 D3 it is a lot less money in comparison even with the speaker stands. It’s an alternative to consider if you like the sound signature many videos they compare them. I just don’t see it being worth that much more at least 3000 or more dollars for the improvements too expensive in my opinion but if you’re going into bowers and Wilkins and you want their very best bookshelf this is it
