The Bowers & Wilkins - Px7 S2e Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones in Ocean Blue are a great upgrade to the product line. I discovered Bowers & Wilkins approximately 2-3 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by their overall sound quality and comfort. Since that time I have jumped around but always seem to return to Bowers & Wilkins. The Ocean Blue color is a fantastic touch. With a deep blue color, the essence of the ocean is well captured in a fashionable color scheme. I found myself sending pictures of the headphones to multiple friends when first putting them on. The color works well between materials too, overall a great choice if one likes blue and does not want the standard available grey or black (forest green is also available). The fit is adjustable to head size as needed. The padding is very comfortable both around the ears and on the head. I did feel the earpieces are smaller than some other headphones I have used; however, both my wife and my ears fit well. She also mentioned they were comfortable, which she has a larger head and often times over-the-ear headphones are not. The listening experience for these headphones is beautifully designed. The music/sound is immersive. There are subtle changes in the direction/location of sound origin making a surrounded effect evident. There is also noise-cancelling option which even with music at half-volume is quite impressive as to the point I did not notice people near me were talking to me/trying to get my attention. This feature may be turned on/off with a intermediate setting available also. The noise-cancelling allows for even greater immersion in the sound. There are multiple microphones to enhance this experience. Calls are easily answered with the headphones and I've found those whom I'm speaking to receive clear voice from me. Overall, extremely impressed with sound quality for investment There is a new app, compared to my previous headphones. The Bowers & Wilkins Music app, which has more features than the previous app. The application will allow connecting some music streaming services (currently those that are more supportive of individual/new artists). I do not have subscriptions to any of these, so not able to use to fullest at this point, but a feature none the less. The application allows for ensuring software updates and adjustment to sound equalizer. This is always a great feature; however, I felt limiting in that only treble and bass are able to be adjusted. Honestly, this is all one really needs but I do enjoy having more adjustment capabilities with headphones. Greedy expectations on my part; however, the app does the job allowing for improved connectivity with ones device, monitoring battery level and ensuring up to date technology. These headphones are my current go-to, definitely an upgrade from previous in both comfort and overall sound. My wife has already requested to use these for work-outs while I'm gone at work, which of note, the headphones will easily switch device pairing. A fabulous addition to my day

I was excited to receive these Bowers & Wilkens Px7 S2e headphones. I have a number of Bluetooth headphones, earbuds and speakers and this is my first product from B&W. Bowers & Wilkens is well known for producing some exceptional speakers and are well known in the audiophile world. They continue that heritage with these headphones. The first thing you need to do is connect to their music app. This app is easy to connect to and allows you to configure the headphones functions such as the noise cancelling features which includes ANC on, by pass (to allow a small amount of ambient sound in) or off. The app also provides a very basic EQ for bass and treble. It also shows you the percentage of battery remaining. There is an option called wear sensor that works when you remove one or both of the ear pieces it stops the music until you put the headphones back on. There are 3 different levels that this can be set at however I found the function to be a little touchy as there seemed to be a delay in stopping the music and restarting. I chose to just leave this feature off. Connecting to Bluetooth was very easy and I connected these to my Android phone, computer, laptop and projector without any issue. These headphones are extremely well made and very comfortable to wear. I received the Ocean Blue version and they are very attractive. Probably the best feature (besides the sound) is the fact that they have physical buttons for performing tasks. There are a series of raised buttons on the right side for power on/off and Bluetooth as well as volume up and down and a button for changing music tracks and answering your phone. These are very tactile and work very well. On the left ear piece there is a single button where you can adjust ANC or connect it to a voice assistant. It is really nice to have buttons as opposed to the more common soft touch controls. I would recommend that you go to the B&W website and download the full owner’s manual for these as the quick start guide is very basic and there is a lot of additional information that is very helpful in the manual. All of the comfort, quality and functionality is great but only if the headphones sound good and I can say these headphones sound amazing. The highs are clear and detailed and the bass is strong without being overbearing. The soundstage is open and wide. These can get exceptionally loud if needed. I have a large library of Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos music and everything I have played is outstanding. I have several Bluetooth speakers costing twice what these headphones cost and can’t imagine needing to spend more on a pair of headphones then these Bowers & Wilkens Px7’s. These are just perfect all-around headphones and I highly recommend auditioning these if you are in the market for a set of audiophile headphones at an affordable price.

Pretty nice pair of headphones. Mid to high end range, they have good solid sound. I like the ocean blue color too. They are actually a bit more blue than they appear in the pictures which give them a slightly greenish tint. Overall very nice looking headphones. Not as bulky as many of their competitors, they fit well. They are a bit heavier than I expected but still quite comfortable. With proper adjustments the padding cushions them well. The drivers are supposedly angled so they probably sound best if you get the right/left orientation correct. Good noise cancelling with three levels basically off, medium, or full on. You can access them with the button on the left earcup or through the app. The rest of the buttons are on the right earcup and are easily accessed for simple operation. The app is pretty basic and only gives you a couple of extra functions including battery level and bass & treble controls. It works with a few streaming apps but doesn't currently appear to work with saved music files. Fortunately it's not required since the headphones work fine without it. AC adapter not included but charging cable is. Also can be used wired with additional included usb-c to 1/8" audio cable. Nice hardshell case with cable storage to store it all. Charges pretty quickly and has good battery life. If you're familiar with Bowers & Wilkins you probably know what to expect. They have great quality sound and these headphones don't disappoint.

These are excellent headphones for those that enjoy the musical experience and not just “background noise.” Listened to several lossless digital albums I have, including Michael Jackson’s “Bad” album (one of my all time reference albums) and the Px7s2e have a phenomenal midrange that is fluid, with tight bass and sharp highs. “Thiller” sounds crisp, with clear background effect sounds, and it’s easy to hear a wide soundstage. Switching over to country music, I listened to Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet performing 5 O’clock Somewhere, and the headphones gave a beautiful performance of the vocals without them getting muddy with instruments. For those that just like “noise” and bass, I gave Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” and it thumped and sounded perfectly gritty and raw. Overall these sound almost as good as monitor headphones I’ve had that cost twice as much. Now for the fashionistas out there, these are not only great sounding headphones, but they look incredible too. Very soft blue, with a lot of curves and “soft” design. These are comfort headphones. I listened to music for 2 hours wearing these without any sweaty ear syndrome. Noise cancelling worked great, easily matching the quality of more recognizable international brands. It comes with a great storage case that will keep these headphones safe when not worn, and I. Am looking forward to many years of experiencing music through these wonderful headphones.

I must say, these headphones exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The sound and call quality are stellar. The headphones deliver a rich, detailed audio experience and are comfortable to wear for extended periods. They're lighter than my Surface Headphones which are usually my go-to pair when I need additional sound blocking for conference calls. The active noise cancellation is top-notch (like my Surface Headphones). Comfort is another standout feature of these headphones. The over-ear design and plush memory foam ear cushions make long listening sessions a breeze. The headband is adjustable and lightweight, ensuring a comfortable fit for extended periods without causing any discomfort or fatigue. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design and build quality. The materials used feel premium, and the headphones have a robust construction that gives a sense of durability. The folding mechanism and the included carrying case make these headphones great for home use but a little bulky for travel. I really like the physical toggle switch, it seems like they connect faster than other headphones. If you have longer hair, you'll want to pull it back while you have these on - otherwise the hinges are prone to catching a few strands which is annoying. The battery life is impressive, they arrived with just 40% battery life but I used them for a few hours right out of the box and never got a low battery alert. The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable, and I haven't experienced any issues with dropouts or interference problems. The controls on the earcups are responsive and intuitive, allowing easy control of playback, volume and calls. If you're on the market for a premium pair of over-the-ear headphones-- these are a nice option.

Outstanding fit, finish, comfort, and sound quality. For my ears there was very little difference in sound quality, comfort, and fit with the PX8's and did not justify the double the price of my $300 USD ***on sale*** PX7 s2e. At that price I don't see any other product with that bang for the buck. The PX8's have a fantastic finish to my eyes, no doubt about it! Only debit here, imho, is the ANC. Very good but not as good as my Bose QC Ultras or AirPods Max. I'm told the Sony WM5 is better but no personal experience. I'd give the ANC a 7.5/10 with the others clearly 9/10. On sale, these are my 1st choice, at full price there is some competition.

These headphones have a very sturdy construction. The head-size adjustment is very wide and when adjusted it stays put nicely. The earcups are very soft. I was able to wear glasses with the headphones on for almost 2 hours with no pinching, so the designers certainly insured they are comfortable. Also the material used for the earcups does not cause your ears to overheat – tip of the cap to the engineers at Bowers and Wilkins. The app is very well designed, the controls are intuitive and the install went flawless on both a PC and cell phone. You can keep two devices paired. A 3.5mm stereo jack is included as well as a carry case and charging cable. I used these headphones wirelessly and also tried the 3,5mm jack – everything worked perfectly. The sound has lots of bass and I would describe the audio as super smooth. The noise cancelling kicks in nicely and you can use the button on the left ear cup to turn noise cancelling on and off. I did find the audio could separate instruments better than other headphones I have used. This confirmed the more premium price was worth it due to the 24-bit processing high-res DSP and the powerful and custom 40mm drive units. There are also 6 noise cancelling microphones – wow. I did try these headphones with various music sources, cell phones and an online zoom meeting. I noted I could pause music by lifting one earcup; when earcup returned to ear, the music started like magic – great. The 30 hour battery life is also outstanding. I would highly recommend these outstanding headphones for music, online meetings and cell phone usage.

Since having to go back into the office and in their infinite wisdom they felt an open office plan to be the one I have been looking for headphones to block out the sound of the office while also enjoying my music to the fullest. These fit the bill perfectly for my needs. The fit is good, and the battery life will get you through a day or two at the office without charging, which is a huge bonus. The headphones themselves have a solid feel and a good fit on my head, with enough breathability that my ears didn't get overheated or sweaty even after wearing them in the office for an extended time. The ANC quality of the headphones is superb and do a good job of blocking out ambient noise from the office while allowing the music to flourish and be enjoyed. The App that is included seems to work well, though you do need to create an account like everything else these days, however the functionality in the app does make it worth it, if nothing else to keep the firmware updated and sound of these headphones keeping the top-notch quality they are. I also appreciated the fact that these headphones come with a nice hard case allowing me to freely add them to my work bag without having to worry about damage. Overall, these are a fantastic set of headphones, and I am enjoying them. I would recommend them every time.

Material, I really enjoy the comfortable material they use on the ear cups. I have started to use these at work for hours on end and do not have fatigue. The band material in my opinion feels weak and easy to break. It is sturdy but I feel one accidental step and it will be broken. I am really enjoying the quality of the buttons, on off switch and in general the housing the electronics are contained in. The aluminum ring gives them a very high quality feel whenever you go to put on and take off the head phones. Battery life so far has been incredible. I have not been able to use the entire battery in one sitting. I have not had a chance to take these on an airplane and for me that is where sound canceling can either shine or fail in both performance and in how it impacts battery life. The sound quality is good. I am not bragging about it or asking people to check them out. The bass is not going to give you a thump. I have zero complaints though with the sound stage at the cost of the product. The sound is good and clean. I am very happy with this product. I have used many wireless headphones and I have not said that about the majority of them. I would recommend this product.

I purchased these for my wife to wear while at work to focus while in a busy shared office space. She really enjoys them and says they are very comfortable. Comfort was a major factor in my purchase because she tends to get headaches if things like headphones or sunglasses don’t fit well. They sound great and seem to have good battery life. The build quality of the headphones and case are excellent with premium feeling materials. Overall very pleased.

These headphones feature exceptional sound and build quality. When I unboxed them, I was immediately amazed at the attention to detail. They look and feel like a pair that’s very high end, yet at a very reasonable price. Even the case sports a magnetic compartment to hold the USB cables for direct connection. You begin by installing the app for your device. Once you’ve completed that and set up an account, it’s time to power them up. It immediately paired with my phone, an Android 14. Pairing to a second device, a tablet, was also just as seamless. Within moments I heard why these headphones were worth purchasing. The sound was better than any other headphone I’ve ever owned. Next I tried the noise canceling feature. It eliminated just about every sound around me. The buttons to adjust the volume and ANC were easy to find and use while wearing them. After wearing them for a few hours, I found them to be very comfortable. It’s clear that the ear cups and materials used were well thought out. Working with a leaf blower and the noisy roar was not a distraction. While making calls with them, the audio remained crystal clear, and the quality remained outstanding. My music preferences range from classical to rock. I was hearing depth and nuances in the music that the composer intended. I also enjoy video editing, and listening to the details is very important to me. Wearing them while working on a project allowed me to work longer, and hear more details. For comfort, style and performance, I don’t believe you’ll find a better buy than these headphones. Do yourself a favor, and experience what you’ve been missing.

Im an apple user by the airpods Max I have were just not cutting it. I got these as an update and have to say no looking back. Sounds is clear, exceptional sound stage, and the comfort is next level. I would go as far as saying they are more comfortable than the APM with extended use. The ANC and transparency not as good but very close. All in all 5/5 stars. Curious if apple will come up with an update to compete.

    Huge Upgrade Mid-Tier Headphones

I've been using cheaper over the ear headphones that I thought was okay until I tried these headphones. What an upgrade! Full disclosure- I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I listen to a lot of music, and I'm autistic, so I always like to have noise cancelling headphones with me for situations where I'm overwhelmed with background noise. These headphones are the best I've tried. They come packaged in a nice zippered case, which makes me feel better about throwing them in my sling bag, knowing they will be protected. I get several days of use out of a single charge. But the best part is the sound. The Bowers & Wilkins app allows me to customize the sound settings depending on what I'm listening to. Music is crisp and clear, with the bass being full without being punchy or distorted. The vocals and treble really come through nicely. It's easy to change modes from pass-through to noise cancelling both in the app and with the dedicated button on the left ear cup. They are extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods and have a nice, solid weight to them without feeling too heavy. While a little pricey, these are definitely premium headphones that are a huge step up from a mid-level set.

The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e wireless headphones offer superb sound quality, beautiful aesthetics and solid build quality. In the box, you get a nice case for storing the headphones and included cables. The case is nice and sturdy and should definitely offer enough protection. I am really enjoying these headphones so far. I have used many different brands of over ear headphones throughout the years. While I have been happy with previous purchases, I have to say that the Px7 S2e’s have to be one of my favorites. The sound is amazing and the battery life is insane. I listen to mainly hard rock with some classical and jazz mixed in and the music absolutely comes to life. I typically use these headphones at night to watch movies and listen to music and everything sounds so good. The noise cancelling is phenomenal as well. Our room has about 3 fans going at any given time along with a sound machine and I can’t even hear them! While there are lots of brands out there to choose from, I can confidently say you will be very happy with the Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e’s!

I've had Bowers & Wilkins headphones before, but had been buying cheap headphones for a while in between. I don't think I'll go back. These are incredibly comfortable and sturdy. The sound quality is incredible. The way we can choose to move between noise cancelling, pass through, and regular mode is very convenient.

    1. I thought this app had a headphone jack, but no, it has a usbc to 3.5mm. My phone doesnt have a 3.5mm. So now i need to convert lightning to 3.5 to usb c! And the usbc cable that comes with it doesnt include a microphone! 2. this doesnt work woth the B&W Headphones app, which was great and did not require you to hand over your email. to change any settings or download firmware, you are required to sign in to the B&W Music app, which doesnt even have an option to sign in with Apple Id (and hide your email and password from yet another vulneravle company) 3. i try to join a Teams meeting on Windows. and the headphones disconnect. and i cant use it wired ecsuse the 3.5mm jack doesnt have a mic. and i can't update the firmware because i dont want to create an account. Sorry to hear that you did not have the experience you desired. That said, the app does not include a headphone jack. PX7 S2e does include a microphone (many) that are designed to allow you to talk wirelessly without additional hardware. You are correct that this model does not work with the Headphone App. That app has been phased out in favor of a much better app (Bowers & Wilkins Music) that all new headphone models have migrated to over the last year. The location of the new app is noted in the quick start guide. Apologies for the confusion.

Regarding PX7 S2e not working with Microsoft Teams, you most likely have a configuration issue in your Teams menu. Our entire company operates using Teams across the planet and we regularly use these headphones and older models (all the way back to the original PX) without issue. bowerswilkinsus-ca
