Audio sound first, Good Noise cancellation second

If you're looking for the best noise cancelling headphones you're better off going for the sony xm4's. If you want higher quality headphones, you're not getting a better pair of headphones than these. The 43 mm headphone drivers are the biggest ones on any headphones on best buy which edges out other headphones when it comes to soundstage. You get really clear audio especially when connected directly to a port. The noise cancellation definitely works, but the sony xm4's are definitely better. I wanted something that was the best audio wise with pretty good noise cancellation, if you're looking for great audio first and noise cancellation second, look no further than these.

I love this headphone!! Sound quality is way better than my Sony XM2. Glad I bought it! One drawback is that when I don’t put it in the right place, it will pinch my head (it’s hard to find the right place). But I can live with it for the sound quality!! Yes, the sound quality is THAT GOOD!

They don't have any sort of equalizer settings, but they're pretty comfortable, and have a very pleasing sound. Very good ANC and the companion app is really excellent! Between that and the battery life, these are definitely recommended if you're looking for long lasting, good sounding, ANC headphones!

Solid Blend of NC and Sound Quality

Hi was upgrading from my Bose QC35 and I looked at the usual suspects (Bose 700 and the Sony 1000XM3s). Both have better NC tech than the PX7 but for my ears and sound preferences, the overall blend of sound quality, NC and design was enough for me.

As one of the biggest fans of B&W who is in love with my floor standing B&W speakers, I thought these overhead headphones would be the state of the art amongst the other's but I surprisingly come out to find out that the sound quality of these headphones is nothing near what you'd expect from B&W. I tried different high quality streaming applications (320 kbit/s) and still got the same poor sound quality. Strangely, the sound is muffled and the base is too high with a little bit of distortion. I desperately searched for equalizer in the B&W application which would let you adjust the sound but there was no such a thing either. Although it doesn't seem to be a malfunction or a defective unit I would still like to exchange the unit just to help myself believe the sad truth! The other stunting issue that I've come across with is that if you want to listen using the 3.5mm cable you still have to leave the unit on! What?! That doesn't make any sense as it defeats the purpose of playing audio from an analogue device using the cable! What if you're in a 10+ hours flight where you don't what to expose your brain to bluetooth waves for multiple hours? or what if the battery's dead?! Can't you just use the headphones using the cable like most of the headphones out there (exp. Bose Quitecomfort 35)? The pros, however, are sleek design, impressive battery life and great noise cancelling. Lack of B&W sound quality is a deal breaker though!

Sounds awesome but low in volume when using Bluetooth. Bad to download a volume booster to get them loud enough for my liking. Not ever ear is the same.

Atypical bowers & wilkins sound with good solid functionality. the design is good, and the only real complaint I have about it, is that it seems a little plasticky for the build quality. in my opinion, the PX series seems a little more substantial in the quality build than these headphones. But I'm not sure if this company is going to phase them out or not, and replace them with the PX 7 Series, but hopefully they have both options available for a while, because I'm not sure if people would appreciate the materials that are used to build the PX 7 headphones. I would still recommend them to somebody, but if you're going to buy something that's a little bit more substantial feeling, I would get the PX over the PX 7's. The sound is a little bit better in these though I will give him that much.

Have PX’s and love them. Their unique style is still very appealing to me. Wasn’t sure I would like the PX7. After purchasing them I am a fan. They sound fantastic. And the new app is much more comprehensive. And they are very comfortable.

My wife and I were looking for a pair of headphones for our new TV. These headphones were near the top of my list for sound quality but the price had me thinking twice. When I got in store and the associate showed me the sale price, I couldn't say no. I have used Bose noise cancelling headphones in the past and these and I frankly cannot tell any difference. They adjust easily to our different head sizes and rest comfortably over our ears. I would highly recommend these headphones for listening to music or TV programs. A great buy!

I really like the dual-device connection, button controls, sturdy build and ability to also playback thru USB-C. Only complaint was that the profile is not as sleek and slim as the Sony's.

Excellent sounding speakers with good Bluetooth capabilities. Only problem is they can be a little too tight on the head if you are listening for more than an hour.

I compared the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 (B&W) against my Bose QC35s’ and was shocked by the results. While the Bose fits in a slimmer and skinnier case which can be a plus for travel, the B&Ws’ were just small enough to not make a big difference. Both sets offer high end sound, noise cancelling, NFC/Bluetooth connectivity with Aux cord capability as well and a rechargeable battery built in, and both have an available app which work well (iPhone for me). The B&W feel a little heavier on the head when compared to the Bose but, they fit much snugger around the ears which when compared to the Bose is a big improvement. The Bose will feel loose and even fall off if you turn your head quick enough. Now, being that the B&W have a tighter fit, I wore them for 4 hours straight (average flight time ish) to see about them becoming uncomfortable, they did not in any way. The sound is great on both pairs (obviously), however I think the B&W have a slight edge in overall sound quality. The highs are crisper and the base immerses you, not overpowering by any means. You just feel like you are sitting in front of the artist you are listening to and getting a personal concert. I used a white noise machine to test out the noise cancelling, and B&W has the edge here and I think it is because of the tighter fit around the ears. While you still get some background noise with both, it was less noticeable with the B&Ws’. I also wore them while preparing dinner, I heard more of me banging the pots and pans with the Bose compared to the B&Ws’. Overall, if you are looking for your next set of high end wireless over the ear headphones with noise cancelling, you cannot go wrong with the Bowers & Wilkins PX7s’.

With outstanding dynamic range and depth of soundstage, these are the best headphones I've ever used. The clarity of the bass viols on 3rd movement of Beethoven Symphony #5 is astounding. There is no muddiness or mid-bass spike. On the Dies Irae of the Verdi Requiem, these phones deliver amazing definition and firm bass. No boominess from bass drum. The depth of organ bass on the Mascagni Intermezzo is extraordinary from headphones. These headphones handled everything from Metallica to Dave Brubeck with honesty and accuracy. I would expect nothing less from Bowers and Wilkins. Highly recommended!
