Headphones after some use is suffering from sound degradation when the anc is active. When it’s off, the sound is a bit warmer but still sounds as if there is a sound limiter. As of the moment, I believe the Sony Headphones are still a better choice or the Sennheiser M3s

I travel internationally quite often which means many hours on flights from Los Angeles to Sydney or Dallas to London. If you're traveling frequently, even if you're not traveling as far, your ears will thank you if you have some effective noise canceling headphones and while you're about it, why not add in the incredible sound quality that comes from Bowes & Wilkins.

Sound quality was ok but I expect much better from Bowers and Wilkins. They didn't really creat a clear sound stage for me. They are very quiet compared to my last 2 pair of Bowers headphones. The worst thing overall is that the Bluetooth barely even works. They keep disconnecting in the middle of songs or videos. I have resorted to just using an aux cord. I have tried both ways and honestly these headphones didn't sound any better wired than wireless which is aweful. I am using a high quality cable, and I even connected them to an audio card and ran them on my PC still didn't sound any better. What is crazy is my Corsair gaming headphones honestly sound better than these. Overall, I'm disappointed. I really use to love Bowers headphones but if this is the best they have I'll buy Sennheiser instead heck even Sony is a better choice. Sorry for the bad review but this is just the truth of my experience

I have had all of Bose headphones and Sony. The Sony xm3 are by far the best out of all. These were very tight on my head.

The Bowers and Wilkins PX7 is the replacement model of the highly rated PX model launched two years ago. For those who aren’t familiar with this brand, Bowers and Wilkins is a British premium audio company which been around since the 60s. The B&W PX7 in my honest opinion is a combination of form and function. The PX7 is designed similarly to the previous PX model. It has the same woven fiber styling found the in PX. And aside from color styling one cannot immediately differentiate the two models. It has a modern design element which differentiates it from traditional over-the-ears headphones. But there is one major difference though which makes the PX7 a cut from the PX is that it is made from carbon fibre instead of metal thereby making it lighter than the PX model without sturdiness being compromised. The PX7 has the usual control buttons found in other headphones. But the power switch is a slider switch which is better for me rather than a toggle button. It has the pause/call button and two volume buttons which are also used for controlling music. On the left side of the headphones is a toggle switch to control noise cancelling functions. The PX7 has an app for both iOS and Android. It is a basic app and doesn’t really add much if there is anything at all to add. The noise cancelling feature can be controlled via app or the left side button. It on/off, high/low and auto settings the latter commonly referred to as ambient noise control. And one thing I like about the PX7’s ambient noise control is that the change from high to low is seamless unlike other headphones which have a split second display or an audio prompt whenever a switch is made. Audio output for this headphones is rather on the conservative side meaning bass is good but not thumping. Mids and highs offer clarity. IMO if you’re into classical and jazz this is perfect. And other genres such as pop and metal is pretty much decent. But for bass heavy music such as hip-hop or old school reggae, the bass is still decent but more of it would be nice. So take note of that. Overall, this is an astounding set of cans without really announcing to the world I’ve got an expensive pair of cans. I’d actually recommend this whose more concerned about audio quality rather than the brand itself.

They were just OK. With the SONY WH-1000XM4 being $50 to $100 cheaper these didn't make sense.

Sound is of great quality, however the bluetooth connection is weak, and the double connection they market does not really work well, at least with my phone + gaming PC. Also the noise cancelling is not the greatest. Overall I liked my Bose ones better, might turn back to Bose in the future. On the positive side, excellent battery life and as already mentioned, great sound.
