Poorly made bike

The handlebars and seat do not stay firm and have to be constantly tightened. The pedals are very cheap and the strap is hard to adjust and is cheaply made. The screen is laggy and honestly too small for an exercise bike. This bike does not reflect the Bowflex name.

Software not worth it

The whole point of paying extra money on this bike is to use software to make exercises more efficient. In less then a month I’ve had to call tech support to clear cache three times.

Defective product and poor service

Display panel has never worked nor replacement panel shipped by Bowflex (Nautilus). It’s been 34 days and now waiting on technician and parts again.

Poor service

I asked to see the box and confirmed it would. Employee hesitated and told me to drive to the front of store. Box fix perfectly. Obviously didn't want to take the box to curbside as it weighted 140ish lbs.

Great bike, JRNY app leaves much to be desired

HOWEVER if you are buying this for the screen, it should be mentioned that the JRNY app leaves a lot to be desired. I typically just use the screen to keep track of my distance/resistance/cadence and use my laptop for Peleton classes. If there's a way to stream anything to this screen, I have yet to figure it out. Also as mentioned in other reviews the water bottle holders are in a terrible spot, I may go back and remove them altogether as even the smallest bottles bump your knees during the workout.

My unit does have some QC issues which are not a big deal to me - The screen is a bit tilted, as the screw holes holding it in are not properly aligned. The handlebars are slightly askew, and the left pedal is slightly further out than the right pedal. Noting major or deal breaking at this price though.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the schwinn ic4 from best buy, which is the exact stationary bike except $100 cheaper because you don't get the 7" monitor or the bowflex mat. all in all delivery and packaging was good, no problems. build is solid, much more sturdy than the sub $500 bikes. especially if you're on the heavy side. i would recommend just get the ic4 and pair it with an ipad better than the bowflex's monitor.
