The magnet does not work with Apple iPhone 12 from a MagSafe standpoint. Be sure to use the included magnet within the packaging in the box. Please let me know your experience!

I'm in and out of my car constantly, and this magnetic holder works almost too well. Meaning it's not easy for me to grab my phone quickly because it's stuck so strongly. For regular driving times, it is superb. But I had to go back to a manual holder for the constant placement and removal of my phone.

Make sure you have the metal disc on the outside of your phone case rather than the inside -- this should ensure a strong connection. Also, please make sure you place the vent clips into the bottom-most vent bar so that it will be better supported at its base, this should ensure it stays secure. The magnet is designed to work inside your phone case, however, if it is a rather thick case such as an OtterBox it may not be able to do so. Magnet is strong, I don't have any problems with my phone moving when I hit a pothole or unexpected bump in the road. Great value for the cost.

Dont forget the krazy glue!

I had to use krazy glue to attatch the magnet to the back of my phone because it kept coming off when i would take phone off the clip. The clip also pulls from the vent when trying to pull the phone off it.

Bracketron Auto Grip Magnetic Vent Mount

My phone (Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in a Otterbox Defender Series Pro case) did not fall off the mount. I placed the rectangle metal plate from a previous Bracketron purchase between the rubber shell and the back of the case. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone in place.

Maybe that is the reason it was on clearance. Don’t waste your money.
