Viable product but when hitting bumps in the road the entire holder dislodges, and falls off. The magnet is strong, and holds the phone in place. After several episodes of it being jarred off the vent mount one of the clips broke. The bumps were basic road hazard potholes, or mild speed bumps while driving at 25mph. Novel idea, cheap plastic materials used.

This item is worthless since the screw falls through the ball. Seems easy enough to assemble but I stopped when ball kept falling through. I’m returning to the store. Want to exchange it, see if this one is a manufacturer problem. I’ll check the next one before leaving the store. Very sturdy built. Let’s hope the next one I get works.

Being a semi truck driver it was hard for me to find a good phone mount that didn't obstruct my view or distract me. Mount and phone both stay in place, love this thing XD

My wife's and my car does not have a built-in cell phone holder, and the Bracketron MagnetXT is excellent. The phones do not fall off, and the holder is completely adjustable for optimal positioning of the phones. If you have a case on your phone, I recommend placing the magnet inside the case between the back of the phone and the case without removing the magnet's adhesive cover so the magnet is not permanently glued to the phone. This will give some flexibility should you change phones and want to continue to use the bracket with the alternative phone (by moving the magnet to inside the case of the alternative phone). By far, the best bracket we have had.

I’ve been using this phone mount for several years. At first I used it with my iPhone 7+ and now my 12 Pro Max. After purchasing the new phone, I tried a couple other inferior mounts, none of them could support the weight of the Pro Max. Fortunately, I got my hands on another one of those metal plates (by Scosche) and attached it to the back of my new phone. And voila! I could use my trusty Brackertron once more. It’s honestly an amazing mount. The magnet and vent clip are both so strong. This is a very solid choice as far as magnetic phone mounts go.

I attached this to my bicycle and it works perfectly. A strong hold so I don't worry about losing my phone.

Hands down the best phone holder for the large and heavy smartphones we have these days. I use it in my Nissan 370Z and we all know how hard it is to Mount anything in those little sports cars. Magnet is super strong, and paired with the little legs that can extend downward, it has out performed all other car mount brands. I spend hundreds on those name brand ones, when I could have gotten this one all along. Cheaper, and BETTER! And I drive my Z on the Dragon, US129. My phone never falls or tilts or anything!

So far it seems to be perfect. Gold's in vents good and holds phone great. The only downside is that input the metal disc in my phone to hold, now I can't wireless charge. I may move it to my protector.

Love that this has a magnet and the bottom lip so the phone doesn’t fall down. Easy to use. Sterdy and convenient.

The magnet on this bracket is really strong and will hold your phone securely. This is ideal for metal case designed phones. If you have a plastic case phone, no problem. The manufacturer includes (2) self adhesive metal disks (1) black and (1) silver for you to attach to the back of your plastic case phone. The super magnet will hold your phone tight.

I was shopping specifically for a CD mount cell phone holder. I had researched a couple on the Best Buy app. This particular model is what I choose to go with. I am super impressed with the ease of set up (this can be either vent mounted or CD mounted and the adapters are included), the magnet is perfect and in use there is no loss of phone (I have driven over some very rough roads with the phone on this holder and it stayed in place).

This item was super easy to install and setup. You are able to remove this and use it on another car easily as well if needed in the future. I use the CD player mounting method so I cannot speak for the vent install since I like my vent to not be blocked. The part that holds the bottom of the phone is neat, not sure how much it actually helps because it felt so fragile. It does help level the phone with the mount though. I was missing the metal plates that are supposed to be placed on the back of the phone to use the mount. The box claims it should've came with at least 2 of these plates. Its a good thing I had some extras from previous magnetic mounts.

Good, strong magnet to hold my cell phone in place. Important to open the “base” to give the phone something to sit on for stability. Just what I was looking for!

I was sort of skeptical about the design of this phone holder, but it actually works well. I like the location. Two small complaints: 1. it partially blocks on the of the A/C vents, in case you like it to blow right on your face, 2. I find that the magnets are pretty strong but not quite strong enough to work through the case I have on my iphone. With the last case the phone never fell off the mount. With the new case, if I hid a big bump, sometimes the phone comes off the magnetic base.

I've been searching for a item that could hold my phone and was suspect on a lot of the items I had been researching. Finally I just decided to pick one and go with it. This offered me two ways to mount my phone and it works great. I use the CD slot and its not at an awkward position. The magnet holds firms and that was what I was mostly cautious about. This purchase was great.

This comes with two magnets. One in case you lose a magnet. You place the magnet on your phone and then it attaches to this device which you place in your air duct. Its quick and easy. It's also sturdy and I never worry about my phone falling.

I gifted this product to my bf so his hands could be free while driving and talking on his phone. He loves it! The stand keeps the picture on FT very steady even while driving over bumps in the road. The magnet is so strong that it sometimes even pulls the entire stand out of the air conditioning, but other than that this is a solid product.

This is my second phone holder that attaches to my CD player in my car. My phone often slid down from my first magnetic holder. This one has a stronger hold, and a bottom 'shelf'. Perfect!

This holder is great! With the CD slot this stays in place and the magentic keeps the phone from falling. We bought 2 more after trying this one.
