Customers praise the OneClick Clamp Mount for its ease of use, sturdiness, and adjustability. They appreciate that it can hold different sizes of phones securely and that it is easy to put on the dashboard. However, some customers have concerns about the adhesion and suction of the mount, with some reporting that it does not stick well to certain surfaces or that the suction cup comes off easily.

Decent budget mount

This mount was a decent option in a pinch. Not as stable as I would have liked but it served its purpose. The cup/socket seemed to loosen over time, resulting in the phone sagging and needing to be readjusted. But that seems to be common with most mounts of this style. Its grip on the phone could be better. Even squeezing the jaws together as tight as I could, the phone was still not as secure as I would have liked to keep up with my spirited driving. For the price, I got what I expected.

It feels sturdy. It held my S23 Ultra in an Otterbox case. My S24 Ultra in a Mous case doesn't feel as secure because the material of this case is smoother. Adjusting the arms to the appropriate length can be a slight irritation.
I'd buy this product again.

Wanted something to go in cup holder. This is the only style in stock and good price so got it. It does fit Grand Caravan holder although best to push it in flat. Don't want sticky base messing up anything so kept plastic film on it. Even so, some sticky is picking up dirt---oh! good way to clean cup holder, once. Stays okay but usually have to reset it after remove phone. Easy to read phone GPS when get it right. Oh! (again)--it is suction cup but has sticky too.

Good but note tilt back limitation

Easy to mount phone - holds secure - only issue is placement on the dash of my car left the phone in the sun - too much glare. Due to large size of my phone, the mount is not able to tilt back enough to share. I then mounted to the windshield and it holds well, but blocks my view a bit. My last mount had a longer arm which allowed the phone to tilt back.

Sticks to the dashboard very well and I love that I can just slide my phone in and out with the rollers!! I just need to make sure the bottom of the phone is also touching the dashboard since it tends to slide out the bottom of the clamp when my car shakes on on bumpy roads.

OK, so, this is my favorite of my phone holders so far.
Here's why. The one that went in the CD port of my 2005 Scion just kept working it's way out. The one we bought for our 2015 Mazda5 is all right, but thus far it is really too easy to knock completely off the clean, smooth surface it's attached to- namely the windshield. So when we got our new Kia Niro, we were looking for something different. There is no CD slot, and we didn't want to cover up one of our air vents- so we went with this little gem.
The cool thing is that it has a slider to set the tension on the arms, and then the arms have juuuuust a little give so you can pop your device in and out without having to release or toggle anything. It's GREAT. Now, the car does have an inductive charge pad, but Android Audio requires a wired connection, and the charging pad is arranged so that the phone can't lie flat with the charge cable attached, so this became a necessity if we were going to use the Android Audio functionality.
We've had it for a couple of weeks and a short day trip so far, and it's excellent. It puts my device right where I want it so that it does not block any other displays, and makes it easy to use the device inputs when necessary. It looks sharp, and holds the phone securely. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

My first dash mount

I've always used a window mount for my phones/gps/dashcam/etc... I never thought anything could safely and securely mount to a dashboard. Boy was I wrong! I stuck this to the top of the dash in my 2018 Durango, and was immediately impressed. my phone is a Galaxy Note 10+, and this holds it exactly where I position it with confidence.
I ended up moving the mount from the top of the dash to the front face of the dash under a vent due to my ginormous phone blocking my view a bit, and wanting to use a much shorter cable for Android Auto. I love it even more now.
I will state that it was on the top of the dash for about 5 days, and when I removed it, there was a ring-shaped indent in the dashboard, assuminly from the suction of the base. I've seen people complain about that before, but that outcome is to be expected when putting a suction cup directly on a soft surface like that. 24 hours after I removed it, there's still an indent. I'm sure with the heat/sun on the dash it will resolve itself after some time.

It’s a good product for the price. Holds amazing to windshield during all temps and humidities. As with most things nowadays, it’s plastic and will be prone to having the internal clip break over repeated inserting and removing of phone. This one replaces my last one that lasted 3 years... so doing the math, that’s more than 1000 cycles of inserting and removing.

my brother has an oversized phone and most brackets or adapters would not work , luckily this one was able to fit his phone just fine he was using an apple Iphone (not sure what version ) but it had a power bank type of case and was a little thicker because of it.
this was able to grip it with no issue at all

The Bracketron OneClick Dash Mount is a sturdy mount. The only negative is that over time in the sun, the "adhesive" on the suction cup begins to "melt" causing the mount to slowly slide and smear. Eventually it will detach from the surface. The design and quality of the mount is solid, though.

I really wanted to love this! I thought the suction cup part was temporary suction only, but it had a gel-like glue that pressure set pretty well., however requires a very skillful way to peel it off without damaging what it’s attached to. After figuring out an alternative method to place this on my cup holder-turns out the clamp to hold the phone doesn’t grab it tight enough if you have a protective case on phone.

I chose to spend my life with a human who you cannot really buy presents for unless its socks and underwear. He is picky, particular and if he want something, he will buy it himself.
Well, that doesnt really work well with me so I pay attention. If he yells at something or about something enough, you find a solution. Well, he uses Google maps every time he gets in the car. He has owned 4 of these types of gadgets and they obviously didnt pass the test since he was still dropping the phone between the seats trying to figure out his map situation. PS the map is usually to an address like HIS JOB where he knows how to get there, but likes to see how long it will take instead of looking before he leaves and hoping its right. Or you know, let it talk to him and tell him the updates. It is 2020 after all.
Anyway, long story short, this mount is till in his truck, he likes it, its never fallen off once and its easy to put the phone in and take it out.
For Father's Day he is getting a second one for my car for my own sanity when he drives it. :)

Great mechanism for quick access

Was initially apprehensive about the one-handed action that is marketed with this mount, but it works just as it says. There's two size options for the arms that secure the phone and fixed to the edges are rolling bars. These bars allow the phone to be placed easily and removed, while also adding tension resistance to keep it in place. The base is comprised of a latched suction cup in addition to a sticky plastic foot keeping it firmly on the dashboard. Base and mount attach via a plastic lock screw, this allows for the mount to be spun and tilted. Placed mine in the center of my trucks dashboard and often spin my phone horizontally to minimize any of my view of the roadway from being blocked.
Giving it five stars for the mechanism and due to the method of securing it to my dash working very well, even on a bumpy road.

The dash mount works well. It's a little hard to get the phone into it and even harder to get it out. We are older and don't have a lot of strength. It would be great for someone else.

I bought this for a long car trip and found it to be well-built and solid. The width adjustment system is clever and easy to use. The suction is strong, almost making it a little difficult to remove. I like the roller system that holds the phone in place.
