The item I received looked previously opened or possibly a prior return. The box was beat up and not sealed as new. Set up was easy. It’s simple to operate. My item may have been defective. I never noticed the sanitizing lights coming on. The lid can be opened during operation. Upon opening the lid there was no lights emitting to initialize the sanitation. I happened to tap on the side of the device suddenly the lights came on. Upon further inspection of the device I noticed the construction was very poor quality. You could see strings of hot glue inside holding the light bulbs. Touching the bulb would also make them light up. This unit must have had bad connections. After researching videos online to the validity of these sanitizers if they actually do anything at all I came up to realization that this item wasn’t doing anything. Too many companies trying to make money off consumers during a pandemic crisis.
