This charger is amazing!
I love how it holds the phone when I have my maps pulled up.
Virtually hands free operation!
It has never caused my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 to fall. I use it with the S-View cover folded back & it charges with no problems.

Great phone stand, average charging!

The reason I am giving this car stand a 2 is because the adapter does an amazing job holding the phone on the dash or glass, but only charges the phone for a short time before heating it up to where the phone shuts down. I spent extra money to get the wireless charging capabilities of this phone stand and it does not work as expected. For some reason when charging it just heats up the phone quickly to where the iPhone notifies me it has to shut down because it is too hot! Also please note if you have a smaller car with smaller AC vents, the vent mount is rather large and will not fit if you have small air vents in your car. Other than that I would give it 5 stars for simply being phone mount, but fails in its other capabilities. I’ll buy a different brand next time.

As my charging port broke, i was looking for a wireless charger for my car. It works great and one of things I like most about it is the ease of putting my phone in the grip of the charger. You simply push down on the bottom clip with the phone and the side clips open wide and you are in. The same with removing the phone. This is the perfect QI car charger/holder. Also the suction grip is solid. It has a sticky gel and a suction action that holds the thing firmly in place. Price was good too. and pretty fast charhing. I'm very happy with this mount.

My previous (other brand) wireless charging phone mount was 4 years old and not working well in the heat.
I ordered this one for same day pickup based on good experiences with the brand for many years.
Once I got it adjusted and mounted, I really like it. Easy to put my phone in and out of. Charges fast. Doesn’t get super warm.
The ONLY con I found is how insanely bright the light is, and so I’ve had to cover it with tape. It doesn’t face the driver at all, but does practically light up the entire car interior to the right.

Great Idea, Poor Utilization

First, let me start by saying I use a Pixel 3XL. Long story short, this didn't work in any capacity for me.
Pros:
-Fast, easy set up
-Phone fit in holder
Cons:
-Phone lost power while charging
-Gravity grip does not work as intended
-Power to device was not reliable
-Uses an additional app to work properly for every use
The only positives this receives is how quick and easy it was to set up and that my phone fit within the holder.
As much as the gravity grip is a good idea, is just doesn't work. Pressing down on the bottom piece to extend the arms just slips on the gear teeth until it reaches the bottom before releasing the side arms. This means you have to open the "PwrUp" app every time you dock your phone to get it back on the sweet spot just to get it to "charge".
Speaking of "charging", this does not. During my 20 minute commute, my phone lost 5% battery. Just to make sure the issue was not my case, I removed it and attempted to charge it again. Same result. Thinking it was just because my screen was on for maps, I sat in the parking lot at my office, turned the screen off, and charged it. Sure enough, it lost 1% in just my 5 minutes sitting there.
Another issue was that the charger did not always attempt to charge my phone. The green light indicating that power is connected will change to red while charging. In some instances, the light would continuously flash red then green and would not show my phone as charging. I used another 10w car charger and it seemed to fix the issue. Not even the car port worked well.
The only positive this receives is how quick and easy it was to set up.
This is not worth the hassle and I will be returning the product.

I’m he mount is a pretty good phone mount the way you put the phone into it works pretty seamlessly and I’ve tried 20 or so different phone mounts for my vehicle I have to say for being one that isn’t magnetic it works just about as easily as the magnetic phone mounts without having to have the metal plate on the back of your phone. The charger that came in the box was super fast while it worked but then it broke on the first day I got it. Which kinda sucked but besides that it’s a great charger/mount

My husband bought this in hopes it would charge and hold his phone but unfortunately because of the the way it’s made he was unable to slip it through the heater vent. When he attempted to stick it on the dashboard it would not properly stick and just kept falling over. It did charge but it’s not convenient. Yes he did clean the dash with alcohol. So it works but there is no where to put it.

Hi there Ralphy, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear the mount won't stay put where you would like. It's possible your dashboard may have a texture that is not compatible with dash mounts. In this case, I would recommend looking into Bracketron's CD Slot mounts, Cup Holder mounts or alternative vent mounts. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions. Thanks! Works as expected and charges at a good speed. Two things I don’t like: 1. Certain phone cases make it difficult to take on and off charger because of rubber grub on charger. 2. The charger is always on even when car is off. While this could be seen as an issue with accessory ports in a car, it could easily be solved by adding an on/off button on the charger.

Should have bought another Ottie. This is not bad but not as flexable as the Ottie. It has a cable that you use on the G9 and the Ottie uses micro USB so mo backup cable. The side grabbers busted off on two of my Otties so im trying Gravity and, with a Lifeproof case which is not easy to open and close, the charger didnt work well.

I tried for 3 months to get this to work and finally gave up. The suction cup/sticky dash mount nor the AC Vent works. I found a magnetic mount for half the price that beats this hands-down.

I purchased this for my car because vent mounting was difficult due to vertical vents. I preferred wireless charging to be able to quickly take my phone in and out. The item feels cheaply put together but does charge fast. Suction mount or vent mount can be done.
