Issue developed barely a year after purchase. The holder would not clamp onto my phone after some time. The locking mechanisim only engages when clamp can be closed all the way.

It only lasted on my dashboard for 2 weeks before it peeled off. I put the extra adhesive pad down on the flat part of my dashboard and let it sit there for 4 days before I attached the suction cup. I will try the other attachment to my vent..hopefully that will work better
