This works ok for a day or so, ok for long trips as it will hold for that long. But its not recommended for a permanent install.

Would rate it better if it wasn’t breaking off every time I tried to move my phone. Any time I try to move my phone at a better angle the whole mount part breaks off because you can’t tighten the mount enough. Also the arm is too wiggly and bounces around and swings too much. Wouldn’t recommend

I wanted a window mounted cell phone holder for an upcoming road trip I was taking and this model was perfect for the trip. It installed very easily with suction (no adhesives needed) and held up during the entire trip. The phone was held securely with the side cushions and bottom supports. The flexible adjustment arm is very solid and held its position.

I bought this TripGrip for my car. You can manipulate it according to your needs. But it is not sturdy enough because it shakes when the car is moving. Overall I can say it is good for its price.

The best hands free holder I’ve ever had. It’s arm is pretty solid. The only problem is that the plastic eventually breaks down from sun exposure. It lasts about a year. Decent price for longevity of product.

I am happy that this phone mount has both a window and a vent mount and it really gives me the flexibility to where I want to put my phone. I use the vent because it's closer but I like how the window mount is made. Looks durable!

The clamping mechanism that holds the phone in place broke on the second day of use, which is the fastest that any of these mounts that I have ever used has broken. This is also the most expensive mount by about 2-3 times what I paid for mounts that lasted weeks. You're not paying for quality here, you're paying for corporate mansions.
Had this thing actually lasted for at least a few months, then this would have been a 3-star review with the following complaints:
1. The release button is in a very inconvenient place and is very difficult to push.
2. The option between suction and vent-mount is an illusion. The device came with the vent mount already attached to the holder and there's no way to get it off.
3. There's no adhesive to the suction cup, so I highly doubt that it would stay secured to even a spotless windshield for an extended period of time.
4. The clamp arms are a little bit too large and obstructive of the screen, especially when it comes to being able to touch near the sides of the screen.
Now, the positives:
1. When the clamp works, the phone stays in place.
2. The vent mount does stay in place if you mount it correctly to the vent.
By the way, I'm a delivery driver and need a mount to be able to effectively do my job. If you're not a delivery driver and don't have any other job that requires frequent use of the mount, you might be able to get away with using this for a couple of weeks before it breaks. But if you only need a mount for just a couple of weeks, go with the cheaper options.

I found this Awkward to look at and it wouldn’t stay stuck to the windshield after four times of cleaning and reapplying. I would be driving down the road and all of a sudden everything would end up in the floor and that is a driving hazard for sure.

TrueGrip Window and Vent Mount works now but do not know how long it will due to heat and humidity in my geographical area. It is worth a try because the phone can be easily placed and removed.

Overall it was great , although the bending attachment fell out of the socket couple times. I had to glue to back but that was the only flaw. I loved how easy it is to take out and secure the phone back in. Samsung s20 plus is what I own

It's a decent mount. Work's great up right, side ways tends too bounce off, dropping phone. (S22) for those who may wonder phone type), lowered vehucle, bounced more then normal in my case, there is a small flaw when side ways, nothing too stop it from sliding , bouncing off the little hilder. Imagine vent clip wlild be similar. If it had a small nub, it wouldn't slide or hounce when sideway position. Nice foldable legs to hold phone when upright , decent build qualities. Over wll satisfied and happy.

It's pretty sturdy. It has fallen off the windshield once but as long as you keep he glass clean, its works fine. I have this in a Ram Promaster, and the arm is the right length to be able to reach my phone easily.

Stays fixed to the windscreen as far as I remember until you want to peel it off
Has a nice clicking of needing as you turn the phone to its sideways wide-window-viewing position
