Definitely not a plug and go type of coffee maker. I ordered it online and it arrived on time as promised. First I followed the quick guide setup instructions. I did the clean cycle and thought i was good to go. Fat chance!! It wouldn’t clear out of clean mode. I unplugged it thinking it would reset. Nope! I went to the booklet instructions. In the event of a power outage, it retains the settings for one hour!! It was late and i was tired and frustrated. I got it ready for the morning; selected the pot size, measured the water and coffee grounds. Woke up the next morning, plugged it in and pressed on. Nothing happened! I dug out the old coffee pot and brewed a pot without any problems. I don’t consider myself dumb but man, this is too much work for a cuppa joe! For the price and features I really wanted to love this machine.

I got sick of our old one putting grounds into the pot this one is absolutely amazing sleek and looks soooo much more expensive than the price if you're looking for a new one this is it definitely recommend the best the king of coffee makers

I saw reviews saying it leaks water but honestly it doesn't if you dont remove the cup/pot before the coffee is done brewing. I use it every morning for a 20oz tumbler and i havent had any issues if i leave the cup there until it says the brewing is done. I definitely recommended this thing i would get the extended warranty also though, if you are going to pay this much for a coffee pot you may as well pay the extra 20$ for 2 years of peace of mind

Fast forward a year later, keep getting error messages and some digits of the display pannel wont light up anymore. Coffee makers should last for years and bot crap out after a year. We take good care of the machine by cleaning it and changing out filters and that wasnt enough. Lot of companies today are more about quantity instead of quality. Braun use to be good quality, not anymore. Last Braun product I will ever purchase until they step their game back up!

Many Delightful Coffee Creation Options

And this Braun MultiServe KF9150 is much more than "just a coffee maker." I LOVE coffee! I also enjoy a nice cup of tea, too. But coffee wins out every time. It's a definite 'plus' though that this Braun has a hot water option for when it's "tea time." This will also be useful to make instant oatmeal, as well. To begin with, this Braun is lovely to look at. It's definitely a stylish addition to my countertop appliances, and doesn't feel out of place among what I like to call my "coffee creation station." I very much admire the tapered shape of the glass carafe. It's taller than the usual 'squat' shaped ones many of the traditional coffee makers have. And really does have that 'higher-end' quality. This Braun MultiServe KF9150 is a well-made machine. There are so many options to choose from in order to customize your coffee brewing pleasure. The included Quick Start Guide and Instructions (with fold-out diagram) really do provide all the detailed information you'll need to setup and use the many features this Braun coffee maker has to offer. There's also a two-sided measuring spoon which I found to be a surprisingly helpful tool. However, while the handy 'permanent' filter is nice to have, I will still be using the cone shaped disposable filters I prefer, mainly because they're easier to just throw away with the used coffee grounds, instead of having to clean the reusable filter. The coolest feature I absolutely love about this Braun MultiServe coffee maker, is the 'flip down' mug shelf. Brilliant in its simplicity. Having this little shelf there to set your mug upon for single serve brews, is awesome, and makes it so less splattering will occur if you were to just place your cup down onto the 'keep warm plate.' Another awesome feature that's been invaluable to me, is being able to adjust the water temperature. Mentioned in the instruction booklet, is a "Recommended Temperature Setting Chart," which is particuarly useful for heating the water to the appropriate temp depending on the type of tea you are making. While getting the coffee maker set-up was relatively easy (helped by those aforementioned detailed instruction guides), I know I'm going to be spending a lot of time "perfecting" my coffee brewing skills, and trying out a few new things. I'm particularly wanting to brew an enjoyable travel mug of iced coffee. So far this skill has eluded me. But with this Braun MultiServe KF9150 coffee maker, I'm certain my perseverance will pay off, given time.

Some may not like stickers on their unit but i wanted mine to be on there
