    I have exclusively used Braun razors for 20 or more years. I perceive the quality of their products have declined ever since Proctor and Gamble bought them several years ago. The replacement razor blade head starts out well, but after a few weeks it isn't cutting as closely as it did when it was brand new. The razor's head is supposed to be replaced every year, but the quality of these makes it so that you will want to replace it every few months.

    For starters this razor is great and has lasted forever and the battery never seems to die. Blades are generally good for 1.5 years before they are supposed to be replaced. I have used one of these for beyond that with very low reduction in performance. It was finally time to replace and at 30$ you can’t go wrong

    The new replacement blade obviously cuts better than an old used one ... BUT I don’t feel it is as shard as the ones that come with a new razor. Seems like a worse quality.

    I believe this is the only cutter on the market for the shaver. The design of this cutter was changed several years ago. By itself it changes the Braun shaver from being awesome to being okay.
