I've always trusted Braun shavers and when it came time for a new one I again chose Braun. This works okay and is easy to clean with its "flow through" design for washing. However, I'm disappointed by all the work I have to do to get a clean shave. For one thing, the guard around the cutter head is too wide, which makes it difficult to reach places like under my nose and the crease in my chin. Even on what should be easy-to-shave areas such as my neck I often find it necessary to use a Phillips One Blade as a pre-shave for some parts of my face and neck. I don't have a heavy beard and shave daily, so I can't believe the shaver is being overworked. Again, this works good... but being Braun I would have thought it would do better.

For the price i was expecting a bit more. It doesnt trim as well on the cheeks, there can be improvements. And the accessories are lackluster.

This shaver is really good. It's better (and lighter) than an older model which I had to recycle. I charged it when I first got it --- and have been using it for 2 weeks without a re-charge. The fact that it is cordless/rechargeable makes all the difference.

This is a very good razor that gives a smooth close shave with no pulling or adverse side effects. The cost is reasonable and the only challenge is figuring out how to remove the head for cleaning. This may be the age of the reviewer (80).

Great razor. It give a nice close shave without any razor burn.

Product is well built, and well designed. I have to go in many directions in a small area to get a close shave. Its not really the product, i just prefer a really close smooth blade shave. Ideal for the quick on the go

I bought on a sale. I have been using Series 3 for a long time and decided to get a Series 5. It feels like it shaves better. But I miss having the easy switch to trimming. Overall seems good so far.

Retired and don't need a blade everyday now. This razor does the trick and is very easy to use and clean.

this model is affordable and EASY to clean. The pricier models take more time to clean and can be complicated. Great for elder retired grandpa...upgrade from their old shaver, and easy to use everyday.

Purchased for my son as his first electric razor. It’s been working fine and does the job. Braun is known for their good electric razors so this was no surprise. If you want a good razor, go with Braun.
