It is everything I wanted in a shaver. Great shave, long battery life, good cleaning.

Purchased for my husband. He was tired of having to replace his Nxxxxxxx every 1-2 years. His Braun works great and has a closer shave than his previous shavers.

Shaves well, self cleaning. Expensive but used every day. We think it’s worth it!

Great design overall. Very easy to use, easy to charge and its water proof. I have yet to use it other than in front of a mirror. It is a little noisy during the cleaning cycle though, not a big deal to me.

Very quiet and a very nice razor. I had a Norelco razor for ever and finally changed for this one and I am very pleasantly impressed. Price is high but it is worth it. Holds a charge for a very long time.

Before I bought the Braun shaver I used a traditional razor and shaving cream but suffered from razor burn and bumps. I liked how close the shave was but the bumps and burns weren't worth it. I looked at electric shavers and have in the past used a rotary razor and didn't cut well and burned so I went back to traditional shaving. But I read great reviews about the Braun series 9 shaver and decided to give it a try. I am 3 weeks into using it now and so far so good, well almost good. The series 9 shaver cuts extremely close, almost as close as a traditional razor and does't burnt. I am still dealing with razor bumps so I'm not sure if I just have stubble that likes to become ingrown but thats the only negative I have about the series 9. I love the self cleaning station and how quickly it cleans. So overall I say this is a great electric shaver, I just wish I didn't have to deal with razor bumps but I think that is just something that isn't the razors fault.

It’s not hyperbole to say that this shaver has changed my life. I’ve shaved my head with a razor (generally Harry’s brand) a few times per week for almost 10 years. In that time, I’ve always cut myself at least once a month (especially when using a fresh blade) as I shave in the shower. I decided to get this on a whim and am so glad I did. What used to take 15 minutes and a shower can now be done in front of the mirror in 2 minutes. The closeness on this shaver is amazing and I’ll never use anything else again.

I wanted the best wet or dry shaver and I believe this is it. I can't compare it to the 7 series but the comparisons I read led me to my purchase. the 7 may be a better value but it's a personal choice. My 9 series works great dry and it's pretty magical with shaving gel. It's incredibly fast and cool and shaves very close without irritation. It auto cleans and charges quickly. My only negatives would be the led status lights could be more informative and I would have preferred satin nickel or satin black finish. Chrome is a little garish for my tastes. I think it makes the product look a little cheap but you get used to it. The clean and charge system is awesome and this latest generation works very well. I've loved clean and charge since my 5xxx shaver which I had for about 12 years before it died. I really appreciate that the refills haven't been replaced over the years so the ones I had leftover could still be used. I'm very happy with this product.

Over the years I have spent a ton of money on shavers both electric and not. This is my first Braun and while more expensive then a lot of them, it has the best closest shave ever with any other electrics razor I have had. It seems to be leasp and bounds over previous electric shavers. Very satisfied. Hopefully it will hold up to the hype and be great for years.

Best electric shaver out there! The design and quality is unmatched

I bought this about a year ago and have enjoyed using it regularly to keep clean cut. No issues with the shave or quality of the unit. Regular cleanings in the base help keep it clean and fresh.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this razor, but it has exceeded expectations. I used it to shave my head multiple times, but I mainly use it for normal face shaving. It is smooth, powerful, and has great battery life.

I bought this to replace s Norelco rotary that they no longer support. I am glad I made the switch. It shaves much better. The cleaner is great to have also. I hope they continue to support replacement parts for this razor for a few years

I bought the Braun Series 9 to get a closer shave than I was getting with my now ten year old Norelco triple blade razor. I replaced the blades every year on the Norelco by the way. By late afternoon I could feel the stubble with the Norelco. The Braun shaves almost as close as using a blade. I use Williams Lectric shave prior to shaving which lets the Braun glide over my face. It took a bit of getting used to the trimmer as it is in a different location than the one on my Norelco. I am fine with it now. The charging/cleaning station works well. I use that about every three days, manually cleaning after every shave. Still on the same tray of cleaning solution after seven weeks of use.

This razor replaced an older electric razor. It has features the standard electric razor doesn't have (ie. cleaning system and wet\dry abilities). It is quick to charge and works very well. Only downfall is that there is no base for the razor to rest in when not in use.

I’ve tried many shavers and Braun is still my favorite, I like the style, design and ease of use. It’s pricey but worth it since I don’t change shavers that often unless the newer model comes out.

Much better than the Noreclco I was using. Great design that fits man hands. Charges fast and easy to clean.

Looks fancy but i find it harder to shave with it than my other less expensive and less fancy electric razor. I have a cheaper one that does a great job even on the road - literally. With this one i have to be in front of a mirror and take my time. So it does its job but for the proce and all it should be the best.

Had the razor about a month or so now. Works great so far. My old razor was an older model Braun which finally died after many years. The only thing I noticed is the trimmer is a little smaller than my old one. Not a big deal.
