Like most men, I have to shave daily. Sometimes twice. I'd previously tried a Series 5 and loved it. Well, I'd heard about the Series 9 and wanted it but at the time, it was beyond my budget. Fast forward to today. I finally gave in and purchased a "9" because Best Buy had a great deal on it. After about 11 days of use use, I decided to return the unit. It was generally very easy to use and the shaves were very close and smooth. But it would leave patches. This would cause me to repeatedly go over the areas that I thought I'd missed. Even that was not working. Eventually, I would just clean up with a regular razor. Which, in my humble opinion, defeated the purpose. Even at the great price that Best Buy had offered it, I felt that the effort was not worth the cost. Had the unit shaved evenly, I would have given it 5 stars. But for the effort to cost ratio, I knocked it down to 3 and returned the unit. Perhaps others experiences are more positive. But for those like myself, the hunt continues

This (the Braun Series 9) has been a great introduction to electric shavers. I switched to this after decades of shaving with double-edge razors (i.e. "safety" razors, as opposed to cartridge razors). I looked through a bunch of reviews (both 'professional' reviews and reviews on sites like BestBuy) and it was a tossup between the Braun Series 9 and one of the Panasonics. I chose this one because the shaving head seemed smaller, and because the reviews generally tended to give the Braun a bit of an edge in comfort, and my biggest concern was comfort. I'm really happy with this thing. My face has never felt irritated, the shaver is easy to clean, and shaving with an electric is quite a bit faster than a normal razor.

Love the quality and design easy to use and clean worth spending the extra money for this high end model I used to have a cheaper model of this series from Braun I am much happier with this high end one all the Brauns with the cleaning system are so easy to keep clean

I am long time Series 7 user and was looking to update. The Series 9 seemed like the next logical replacement. However its not any better than the 7 (or 8) and in some ways worse. Its biggest flaw is its wide head size; Brauns approach here is 'more is better' - with a wider head and more cutting blades. Unfortunately, the width of the head works against itself, its so wide that it does not respond to curvature of your face. Braun advertises its Contour Pivot Head, but its does not work well in practice due to the width - it reacts too slowly to changing contours because its soo wide. Ironically, I get better shave by 'locking' the head, but that defeats the whole purpose since my hand must now react to the contours. In conclusion - its a good idea in theory - but Braun is throwing too many gimics out here - they need to go with the basics and get them right. I would stick with the Series 7 or 8 as they work well.

It can be challenging to get a close shave on a shaved dome but this Braun does the job on the first pass. A nice product with about 50 minutes or more of shaving. Comfortable close shave. You will probably not get the advertised 18 months shaving time if you do the top as well, but so what?

I was very skeptical about spending almost $300 on a electric razor, but I have to say this razor is worth every penny. Smoothest shave ever! Even if you have 4 days growth!. Easy to clean. I love it!

I have purchased both s6 and s9 at separate times. The s9 is faster and much better and consistent. I really enjoy this razor. Highly recommend.

This has to be one of the smartest investments a man can make. Definitely a game changer. I manually shaved for many, many, many years... I always, wanted to try an electric shaver. But, with so many brands on the market it can be a little difficult to decide. Ive done extensive research on this razor & I'm comfortable in saying that you will not be disappointed if you purchase this razor.

This Braun is an awesome shaver. My hair grows back fast so I have to shave every day! You can use it for wet or dry shaves and the cleaning mechanism and carrying case make it super convenient! I don't have any cons! This electric shaver is the truth!

I finally made the jump to an electric shaver over the Gillette Razors. It gives you a very close shave assuming you shave against the grain. Way less irritation & razor bumps than I used to get with a Gillette Mach 5. If you have sensitive skin, buy it, it's well worth the price.

Don't let the price scare you; this is one of the best electric shavers I have ever used. 3-4 day growth, cuts through it like butter with no snags. I have tried several different electric shavers and they all caused skin irritation, not this one. Trust me, this is the shaver we have all been waiting for!

I'm absolutely amazed by this shaver. No skin irritation on sensible skin and very good shaving that last two days. On the downsize, I had to buy consumables oil and cleaning product for the Clean and Charge system, and they are not cheap. So high quality, and pricy shaver, and also high maintenance.

I have had a few Braun shavers and toothbrushes from Braun, and they were all excellent. This shaver is excellent as well! I personally don't like the circular ones and prefer the design of this one. If you're like me, get it!

Someone commented that this shaver gave him the closest shave he had ever had. Well, up to then he must have been using a wagon wheel. It’s a good shave but not as close as a blade. Much, much more comfortable though. Very quiet. I haven’t yet decided if it is worth the premium price, although I did catch a very good sale at Best Buy.

This is the razor to have if your on the go, at home or you just want an electric no mess razor, this is the one! With this, you can wet shave for instance, in the shower, dry shave, or use shaving cream. A totally solid build and really nice features.

Braun has won me over: I never would have believed an electric shave could come close to shaving so efficiently and so completely as Braun's Series 9. Wow, I'm very impressed, and I'm more impressed Braun has included a charger/cleaner station that takes the guess work out of maintenance.

Upgraded from the 7000 series to this series 9. It is lighter and not as noisy as the 7 series. It might shave a little better but it’s not like it’s night and day. Got it on sale so at least didn’t have to pay full price.

For years I’ve been using the Fusion Pro razor. After researching the Braun 9295cc, I decided to give it a try. I purchased it on 12-27-18. After charging the Braun in the cleaning and charging base, I used it. I can say I’m very pleased with the result. I experienced the same level of closeness and more comfort with the Braun as I had with the Fusion. I’m planning on using this Braun for years to come!!!

I have had this over two years now and it’s awesome. I use it to shave my head daily. I was tired of using a razor and had tried numerous electric razors in the past with no luck, this one works even when I miss a few days.
