The shaver cuts smoothly and the cleaning system really does a great job cleaning the shaver. The shaver holds its charge about 4 weeks with normal daily sue.

Recently I had my 3-year old Braun Series 9 hocked. I went back to my old Norelco rotary, even bought new blades for it. After a week of that I was happy to catch a price break at Best Buy and purchased another Series 9. I really like the cleaning station as it LUBES the head just a bit. I pre-rinse the head and dry brush before the wet wash. If you never had a Series 9, you need to get one. And you will always want to use it. Only catch is it's $300 ... same cost of my 1st car, a 1966 Buick w/ spinner hub caps. It was a beautiful ride. So is the Series 9.

I purchased this as a replacement for a 5 year old Panasonic. The Braun Series 9 is quite a bit larger and the cleaning system takes up quite a bit of space but I find the overall results worth it. Although the shave is only marginally closer than the Panasonic, it's much quicker and quieter, cutting the shaving time in half. Also, the cleaning system, while a bit cumbersome due to it's size and requirement for refills, is easy to use and does an excellent job. The Braun is a bit expensive at more than double the cost of a Panasonic similar to my old one, but over the long run I feel that it will be worth it.

Was hesitant to try an electric shaver but pleasantly surprised. I have always used a razor because I never thought the electric kind can achieve what I needed it to. Very easy to use, takes up less time. Not too mention the overall money I saved not having to buy any cartilages.

Best purchase I’ve made recently! The quality exceeded my expectations and it works exactly as described. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something reliable and worth the price.

I have not been a fan of electric shavers. After reading several reviews I decided to purchase the Braun Series 9 Electric Shaver. Best shaving purchase decision I have ever made. This product delivers clean, close shaves on each use. Shaving has always been a drag for me as I dislike needing to shave. With the Braun Series 9 Electric Shaver, I now look forward to my morning shave and the ease in which my shave is done. I highly recommend this product.

Quieter than my last braun(5995). Does a little better job. I like charge/cleaning station better. Box pictured a numeric digital readout, but unit only has a sequential line led indicator for charge status.it does a better job cleaning itself than the 5995 and the cleaning cartridge seems to last longer. It does occasionally leave some stragglers, but can get them with the trimmer. I would definitely recommend this razor! It’s a little pricey, but I got it with a rebate which got the Best Buy price down to below any online price at the time.

I’ve owned the 7 series before this and can definitely say this one cuts closer. The trimmer was better on the 7 series but everything else is better about the 9 series. You can actually let the hair grow longer with the 9 series and then cut it because it doesn’t seem to pull the hair as much as the 7 did. I needed to cut more often with the 7 or use the trimmer first. Now with the 9 I can just shave normally and it cuts longer hairs with ease.

I really like this new shaver from Braun. It is very light weight compared my Series 7 shaver. It also shaves more closer than my Series 7 did, plus it is much more quieter than the older models! The cleaning base is nice and does a pretty good job. The older model cleaner loaded the cartridge from the front of the charging base and the new Series 9 loads from the back. I think I prefer the front loader better just because I didn't have to move the entire base to get to the back of it. It's not a show stopper, just a minor nuisance.

This razor is a real upgrade from my old series 5 model. It is quiet, efficient, and powerful. The battery lasts a good week or so with daily use. Like all electric razors, it takes some getting used to but once that is done, it really does the job.

Pricy, but very high quality electric shaver. It works well and has, a least for now, a long-lasting battery. There is a mustache trimmer that is OK in an emergency but is no substitute for a stand-alone beard/mustache trimmerl

Closet shave I’ve ever had! Shaver feels great in your hand and literally cuts down to a baby smooth finish. Battery life has been outstanding the only reason I place it back on the cleaning station is to clean it every couple of days and it recharges it after cleaning. The price is steep compared to other shavers out there but if you’re in the market for a new shaver you won’t be disappointed. Owned the phillips norelco prior to this purchase it was good but not as close as this foil shaver!

Let me say 1st that I tried to go cheap and get the 2nd best razor out. Didnt work. I have very sensitive skin and was being asked questions such as dude whats up with your neck? After I returned that and went with This razor it is amazing. Best out for sensitive skin and getting those tricky hairs that grow or lay down flat. Never really wanted a cleaning station but this thing is pretty amazing. Charges and cleans for you. Very happy and will recommend to anyone who wants the best out for an electric shave

This is my third Braun Shaver. Series 7 was not great for neck hairs. Series 3 was reasonable. However, Series 9 was excellent for all sorts of hairs. Does very good job for flat lying hairs. No skin irritation at all. Cleaning station is great. Side burn trimmer is a plus.

Braun shavers are absolutely the best. I used a well-known brand rotary shaver for years. when I switched to Braun I was amazed at how much better it is. Smoother, and a closer shave, particularly in tough spots. It is not inexpensive, but over the life of a good shaver, it pays for itself.

It works. Not so much if you grow out your beard for a week but if u keep on it, it just works. I’m new to electronic shavers but I went for this one based on reviews. I have also used this on my body as well and it’s been great. It stays changed for a while so I change it once every two weeks or so. It comes with a cleaning stand but I couldn’t set it up due to lack of room on my counter. The travel case is awesome if you stick it in a drawer like me or for traveling. All in all, this has been working well for me.

Great shaver, especially, if you shave every couple of days. Battery life is great can go a month without having to charge the battery. The best shaver I have ever purchase.

This shaver is a big improvement from my 20 year old braun shaver. Much quieter, more cutting heads, smooth operation. I especially enjoy the self cleaning feature of the base unit. Should really extend the life of the cutting heads. Been using it for about a month now and battery hasn’t really needed to be fully recharged yet, although it’s nice to have the recharging feature with the cleaning station. (I’ve only clean and recharge on the weekends)

I have used electric razors for years and this is the best one I have ever owned. It’s expensive but worth the money. The razor is very quiet, holds a charge for a long time and gives a great shave. No electric matches a blade but this razor is excellent. The only adjustment I had to make was the head is large so shaving above the lip takes a little time to get used to. Overall, I highly recommend this razor.
