First time using an electric shaver. I am a traditional double sided razor and shave brush with soap type of person. Bought this for travel since caring everything can be painful. Took me a little bit to figure out how to shave with it properly but once I did the shave is great. Almost as good as my regular razor but definitely better for quickness and convenience factor. I really love it.

Great shaver, especially, if you shave every couple of days. Battery life is great can go a month without having to charge the battery. The best shaver I have ever purchase.

Bought this to shave my head and still use it every weekday. They package this with or without a base that charges and cleans the unit, so they get a continuing revenue stream from purchases of the alcohol based cleaning solution. This cleaning solution evaporates, but can be prolonged by removing and sealing the vat between uses. Resupply can also come at a lower cost by buying concentrated cleaner (Amazon) and mixing it with isopropyl alcohol.

I have shaved with a blade all my life and decided to try an electric shaver. After a few weeks of looking at reviews and thinking, I bought the Braun - Series 9 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver. My first couple shaves were awkward. I then I used a blade again. A week later I opted to forced myself to use the Braun 9 for several days. To my surprise I learned this shaver cuts down to the skin with no irritation, saves me time, and gives me a close shave. I learned this shaver works best when gently held against the face. It doesn't cut as close as a blade, but nothing will do that. But given the comfort level of the Braun 9 on my skin, the time I save shaving with it, how easy it is to use, and how close a shave, I'm very pleased with this shaver. I do remove the shave head each time, rinse it out with hot water (and a slight rinse of the shaver head), then gently dry the shaver head on a towel. Then I then put the shaver into the charger-cleaning holder and run it thru a clean cycle after each shave. The clean cycle liquid also lubes the shaver head to keep it working smoothly. It's a simple process indeed. Press the cleaning button and it cleans then drys the shaver. I never thought I'd like an electric shaver, but this Braun 9 is just incredible.

So my last Braun shaver was at least 13 years old. I had my doubts about spending $ 250.00 on a shaver. I've had it for almost 2 months now, and I'll tell you , in my opinion it shaves just as close as my Gillette Fusion razor. I never thought I'd get that close of a shave with an electric, but it is. Unfortunately 3 weeks prior I spent $50.00 on Fusion blades at BJs wholesale. I haven't used my Fusion since I bought the Braun. LOL,now I'm stuck with 12 refills.

Easy to use. Fantastic results. Highly recommended especially for those that are on the go, not only is it a freqt ahave but it it is extremely portable and last a long time on a single charge.

Ive been wanting to get this shaver for a while and i finally picked it up a couple days ago when it went on sale for black friday. I let it charge for a while when i got home & used it right after. I heard great things from others that own this shaver and i confirmed all the pros i heard...easy to use, close shave, and feels very smooth on the skin while using. Its definitely worth the $300, no doubt.

Braun Shaver is very quiet, fast and easy to use. The shave is very smooth. Best electric razor I have used.

I just simply cant believe how long the battery lasts on this thing and i use it every other day. It leaves a smooth cut every time, and can't believe how well it works every time. This thing was worth every penny.

Bought this for my hubby for Christmas. He is very happy with it. It took him a bit to get used to working with it, learning how to clean it and maintain this excellent shaver. He really likes it and has used it everyday since he received it. Glad I spent the extra to get him this quality shaver.

Gives a nice smooth shave, and the battery lasts for over a month. I have to charge it up so infrequently, I really don't know exactly how long it lasts as the battery seems to last forever before recharging. I've owned this for maybe a year, and the battery is still as good as new. Highly recommended.

Excellent close cut, quiet, easy to use. Cleans well in the stand. Trimmer works great as well.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. He mentioned he was interested in one, nothing fancy. I had researched before in several blogs and this one was mentioned as the top one. Best part is, it can be used with or without water. It was expensive, but I can see it was money well spent. My husband is bald by choice, and this tool is great for him. No more nasty cuts. Smooth, clean shave that lasts. He is happy, so, so am I. :)

Easy to use, charge and clean. Attractive shaver provides a close shave with minimal effort. The Series 9 may look somewhat similar to cheaper Braun models but that’s where the difference ends. I had a series 7 and a 5. The Series 9 best to date. Local Best Buy had similar pricing to other on-line stores so bought local.

This is my second Braun Series 9 Wet/Dry Electric Shaver. My first one is about 2 1/2 years old now and I was getting nervous that at some point it might quit working. So I bought this second one as a spare because I didn't want to be caught without having Braun Series 9 for a week or so whenever my first one goes out. Don't get me wrong, my first one is still working fine. Maybe I'm just being overly cautious because the Braun Series 9 is simply the best electric shaver I've ever used in my life. I use it daily in the shower with shaving cream and it gives me the best shaves I've ever had in my life!

Easy to clean, easy to use, durable shaver. Do note I’ve been a lifelong Braun user. Nonetheless I do believe this razor quite phenomenal. Really easy to use, easy to clean, I love the screen on the bottom, and can get all of my thick hairs without any feeling of scratchiness, or itchiness afterwards. Highly reccomend!

Braun does not disappoint. Made in Germany. One of the best, if not the best electric shaver on the market. Beautiful design and a nice close shave. The long battery life is a plus too. I just wish this model came with the charging case for traveling.
