Thought I had doubt about this shaver. Only because I used a three head rotary shaver and even though that was a few years old. Braun has stepped up its game I shave faster and get a closer shave ever time. Plus the cleaning station is a huge perk. Compared to having to clean it out wash rinse dry and replace. It kind of does this for you already.

Excellent gift to enjoy a good shave without the risk of cuts or irritation. The quality of this product is undeniable and it is carefully designed. I recommend it because I have used two previous models and they have worked perfectly.

This has to be one of the smartest investments a man can make. Definitely a game changer. I manually shaved for many, many, many years... I always, wanted to try an electric shaver. But, with so many brands on the market it can be a little difficult to decide. Ive done extensive research on this razor & I'm comfortable in saying that you will not be disappointed if you purchase this razor.

At age 65 I have had the opportunity to use a number of electric shavers in my time, and I shave daily in the morning. I will admit that most of them have been Philips Norelco. The past venture was the purchase of a Norelco Series 8000 1250X razor using an RQ12 shaver head manufactured by Philips Norelco in the Netherlands 3 years ago. After the first year Norelco stopped production of the RQ12 and sold the RQ12Plus. Garbage. No wheres near the quality expected. Then Norelco came out with the RQ12Pro, and again a total failure at delivering a good shave. Now I have made the decision to leave Norelco and I purchased the Braun Series 9-9295cc Wet & Dry Electric Shaver from BestBuy and WOW. A true close shave. I do not have to go over the same areas a dozen times as with the Norelco 1250X. The 9295cc Series 9 offers a smooth, close shave with just two passes, without skin irritation. I am extremely pleased with the shaving results. The shaver uses the 92S shaver head, that exceeds the Norelco RQ12Pro. At a cost of $239.99 (on sale) from BestBuy on Ebay, I feel that the unit is worth the money because the results are noticed from the first shave. The shaver is slightly louder then the Norelco 1250X, but a quality shave is the end result.

I just switched to this from a rotary head style shaver that finally gave out, and really have been surprised how close the Braun Series 9 shaves. This seems to be a great shaver, including the travel pouch and the charger/cleaning stand. The feel is pretty good, not great though as you can see and feel that there is a lot of plastic in the build, which I'm okay with actually. The trimmer is adequate but not great, but to be honest, I've not been impressed with any of the onboard trimmers that come with electric shavers. It does a good enough job. I've traveled with it once and really found it easy to zip up in the travel pouch and go. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this and will likely keep it for several years.

This is the best electric razor I've ever had. I shave my head with it a few times per week. The clean up is fantastic with the cartridges. While this is a more expensive solution than other options, I appreciate the overall experience in keeping my great looks polished.

Provides a great shave. Balanced in the hand. It replaced a Panasonic model which I really liked and to my surprise was even better. A bit expensive but worth it in my opinion. Got the cleaner because it was included at no extra cost. It is easy to use and completely cleans and dries in 40 minutes. I clean once a week.

Like most men, I have to shave daily. Sometimes twice. I'd previously tried a Series 5 and loved it. Well, I'd heard about the Series 9 and wanted it but at the time, it was beyond my budget. Fast forward to today. I finally gave in and purchased a "9" because Best Buy had a great deal on it. After about 11 days of use use, I decided to return the unit. It was generally very easy to use and the shaves were very close and smooth. But it would leave patches. This would cause me to repeatedly go over the areas that I thought I'd missed. Even that was not working. Eventually, I would just clean up with a regular razor. Which, in my humble opinion, defeated the purpose. Even at the great price that Best Buy had offered it, I felt that the effort was not worth the cost. Had the unit shaved evenly, I would have given it 5 stars. But for the effort to cost ratio, I knocked it down to 3 and returned the unit. Perhaps others experiences are more positive. But for those like myself, the hunt continues

I was super worried about this purchase at first, but trusted in the reviews I read across the web and made the leap. Sure it's pricey, but it genuinely does as advertised! It gets super close! So convenient to have, waterproof, on the go, battery life is great and the cleaning/charging base is awesome! So far so good!

Try stepping into a different universe. This is what it is like go to a 40000 cycle machine from a 340s. Shave quality is signature. The cleaning system guarantees performance from the shaver. Skin is smooth and this is the closest shave ever experienced from an electric.

Wonderfile razor cuts close and the cleaner is amazing stays charged for a long time

Upgraded from the 7000 series to this series 9. It is lighter and not as noisy as the 7 series. It might shave a little better but it’s not like it’s night and day. Got it on sale so at least didn’t have to pay full price.

Great eletric shaver , shaves real good , you still have to use a razor though, but that is okay . Had a Norelco shaver and it pull some hairs, this one does not , it does a good job. Kind of pricey but I think it is worth it , does leave some hairs in sink after shaving

This shaver give a close comfortable shave with no pulling or burn! Easy to clean and long long battery life. Having a pop up trimmer is nice!

The shave feels and looks like its done with a blade. Long battery. Worth it.

Easy to use, zero feelling of irritation. I will definitely recommend this project.
