It's a great gift purchase for your man in your life. I gifted it to my partner and he likes the product. The only drawback is that it doesn't appear to cut all the small stubbles from around the jaw line area so it's not a smooth shave unless you run the machine past your jawline a thousand times. So he ended up using a shaver to finish the job, which I don't like because he often cuts himself while shaving his face. On balance, it's very good at removing long hairs/really grown beards/mustache. But doesn't guarantee a smooth look for use every day without the use of a shaver to finish the job.

This keeps charge long and it shaved very close with easy of use

For the price you pay it's worth it. That being said yes it's a little loud for some people but when the barber shop uses their clippers it's no louder then that. Also for those who say it doesn't catch all the hair your correct, but also when you go to your local barber shop they do put a cape on you to collect the hair. Overall I'm very pleased with the results they give on my bald head. I've tried many of other clippers as well as the hand-held ones you find out there. So if you add up what you've spent on all these you could've went with this. Stop wasting your money and just spend it all at once. Well worth the money with how much they charge for a clean shave of the head.

I got this shaver on a mega deal. For the times I've used it, I wouldn't say it's worth the full retail price. It's a great shaver, but the trimmer is terrible. I use the trimmer nearly every time as I usually let me beard grow a bit and then shave. The actual normal shave part of the unit works great and does a really nice job. It definitely struggles with the little tiny hairs though. On a deal, this is a great shaver.

Have had this shaver for nearly 6 months, it has worked flawlessly, with a great shave. Comes with a cleaning cradle, which provided a thorough cleaning, to keep the blades and shaver fresh smelling and sanitized. I bought it during the holidays when it was discounted $100, which made this a better value.

It is nice easy to clean great shaver for anyone who shaves

Owned for 3 mos now. So far works very good. Easy to clean, use and gives great shave. Pretty expensive but over the long term I believe its built to last. Usually the prob with these over the long term is the ability to obtain the parts for shaver head, so make sure you get extra head.

I've had a Braun Series 5 shaver that I've been happy with for years. I began to have problems with the base to charge it so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I LOVE this shaver. It works better than the old one I had with even less skin irritation than my old one. Fantastic price from Best Buy as well. I love the wet/dry option as well. I'm very happy I upgraded.

Had it for over 10 years and replaced the heads twice, but this one is much better and still uses the same cleaning system for which I auto-subscribe from Amazon. In short, an improved product, or at least a new version just as well built and which works just as well. Don’t wait as long as I did to replace your electric shaver.

Thought I had doubt about this shaver. Only because I used a three head rotary shaver and even though that was a few years old. Braun has stepped up its game I shave faster and get a closer shave ever time. Plus the cleaning station is a huge perk. Compared to having to clean it out wash rinse dry and replace. It kind of does this for you already.

I use this on a daily basis being in the Army. Once my last one finally gave up i decided to get this amazing razor. Downfall for this is price but a wonderful shave does help with that.

Only had it a week now but no irritation and shaves pretty close on my thick facial hair. Had Norelco in past and experienced irritation, was sold by Braun on the straight line shaving ability Wet shave option is really smooth. The cleaning system seems excessive but it comes with the shaver. Won't be relaplacing the cleaning solution when out.

This is the best electric razor I've ever had. I shave my head with it a few times per week. The clean up is fantastic with the cartridges. While this is a more expensive solution than other options, I appreciate the overall experience in keeping my great looks polished.

This razor works well. I’ve only used it dry, and the dry method works well. Granted, I do need to go back and forth across my face several times for all the crazy hairs on my neck. Though the very first trip across my chin does remove 75% hair; better than my previous norelco. This razor pairs excellent with the cleaning/rinsing station.

I am long time Series 7 user and was looking to update. The Series 9 seemed like the next logical replacement. However its not any better than the 7 (or 8) and in some ways worse. Its biggest flaw is its wide head size; Brauns approach here is 'more is better' - with a wider head and more cutting blades. Unfortunately, the width of the head works against itself, its so wide that it does not respond to curvature of your face. Braun advertises its Contour Pivot Head, but its does not work well in practice due to the width - it reacts too slowly to changing contours because its soo wide. Ironically, I get better shave by 'locking' the head, but that defeats the whole purpose since my hand must now react to the contours. In conclusion - its a good idea in theory - but Braun is throwing too many gimics out here - they need to go with the basics and get them right. I would stick with the Series 7 or 8 as they work well.

Excellent shaver. Close shave and easy to use. Really like the movable head to fit contour of your face. Also can lick head for even closer shave. Best electric shaver I've ever had.

Provides a great shave. Balanced in the hand. It replaced a Panasonic model which I really liked and to my surprise was even better. A bit expensive but worth it in my opinion. Got the cleaner because it was included at no extra cost. It is easy to use and completely cleans and dries in 40 minutes. I clean once a week.

This (the Braun Series 9) has been a great introduction to electric shavers. I switched to this after decades of shaving with double-edge razors (i.e. "safety" razors, as opposed to cartridge razors). I looked through a bunch of reviews (both 'professional' reviews and reviews on sites like BestBuy) and it was a tossup between the Braun Series 9 and one of the Panasonics. I chose this one because the shaving head seemed smaller, and because the reviews generally tended to give the Braun a bit of an edge in comfort, and my biggest concern was comfort. I'm really happy with this thing. My face has never felt irritated, the shaver is easy to clean, and shaving with an electric is quite a bit faster than a normal razor.

This has to be one of the smartest investments a man can make. Definitely a game changer. I manually shaved for many, many, many years... I always, wanted to try an electric shaver. But, with so many brands on the market it can be a little difficult to decide. Ive done extensive research on this razor & I'm comfortable in saying that you will not be disappointed if you purchase this razor.
