What can I say, it cooks rice like it's supposed to and it's cheap. However, be careful with the lid. It got bumped rather gently and shattered into a million little glass shards. It wasn't hot or cracked at all. I only had it for 1 month before it broke. My previous rice cooker was 28 years old and never had any issues like this, it's just slow to cook. Spend a little more for one that will hold up, or at least one that has a different type of lid.
