I've owned is little gem for 2 months and I am very pleased so far with the performance. It pulls a nice single or double espresso shot. I love my latte and I Love not giving Starbucks anymore MONEY even more! It should pay for itself in about 6 months! No brainer it's a must have!

This Breville Babino espresso machine is one of the easiest machines I have ever used. It makes the perfect latte at just the right temperature. If you are looking for an entry level espresso machine, then this is the one! And, it doesn’t take up all of your countertop.

I loved it, makes the best tasting coffee! Would highley recommend!

Great Espresso Machine, easy to use, and great value

Owned for a few months now, overall I’m satisfied with the product. I would say it’s sorta difficult to change the cups from 1 shot to 2 shots at times so it might be worth investing in a second handle if you prefer 3 shots of espresso in your coffee like my wife does. Side note: the hot water option is perfect for making insta ramen!

All in all expected more, it’s a decent espresso machine. Everything feels cheaply made, my previous low end machine made just as good a cup but only cost 50.00 and is still working and feels better made than this

It make lukewarm espresso. I tried all the tricks found on the Internet from others with the same problem. Nothing works: preheating the portafilter, run a blank shot, even 5-6 consecutive shots, etc. With both non-contact and contact thermometer, the water temperature remains below 155F. I don't expect scolding hot, but who would buy $300 espresso machine that can make such lukewarm coffee? It should be at least 165, even considering the loss of heat when water drops from the head to the cup. Breville homepage has an instruction supposedly for temperature, but this has only about volume programming. Very disappointed and returning it.

I got this on sale but I think is a product you need to have an understanding of grind size for beans and water pressure. You have to experiment a bit more to extract a better shot. The large version of this product has bars to understand pressure - I would not say this is a product for a beginner

Love it! Best espresso maker at this price point. Nothing else comes close.

Only criticism I have is there is no temp control. Would be really nice to be able to make the water a degree or two hotter to better extract light roasts But overall, I am extremely happy with the machine Have put close to 25 pounds of coffee through the smart grinder pro and this with no issues

Absolutely perfect if you want to make lattes at home! Better than anything i buy at a coffee shop and you can't beat the price! :) Would recommend!

Breville customer support is probably the worset service ive had. The machine started acting up within a year. The water tank leaks water. I reached out to them to warranty the machine. They said they could not replace the water tank but said I could look elsewhere or wait till its in stock on their website for $39. The water tank has been out of stock for months. Everytime we use it, it floods our counter. The double shot button also stopped working. I have reached out twice since initially talking with them in June and have been ghosted. Save your money, there is better quality on Amazon for half the price.

I bought this bc I wanted a simple way to make espresso that was more elevated than my mokapot. Unfortunately, I’ve not made a good cup since. I grind my beans with the Breville smart grinder pro, which I love and is supposed to be ideal for espresso, but it hasn’t gotten me any closer to success. Instead, I’ve wasted a lot of time and expensive beans tinkering around (adjusting grind, making, dumping, cleaning, googling, etc). All this experimentation would be fine if I was a purist/hobbyist, but I really just want a consistently good cup to power my day. I give up and this is going back.
