This machine has it all but I found I had to press the espresso button to get enough volume of coffee for most drinks. Not sure what the problem is but I’ve had it for a week and I’m going to tak it back.

This machine makes amazing espresso drinks. But only after owning it for about 2 weeks, the steamer started acting up. Please see the picture that i’ve posted. The machines basically shuts off in the middle of the milk steaming process. Happened to me several times before I finally decided to return the unit. It gives you a message with “Error code: ER09” There’s nowhere in the manual on how this o troubleshoot this issue. Ended up looking online for answers, but ended up not getting a definitive answer. It seems like a lot of other users were experiencing the same problem. I hope this helps anyone in the market looking for an espresso machine.

Been a Keurig user for so long that I can't remember when I first bought my first Keurig. What I remember was that I was so excited to have one and use it and life was good until my niece introduced to me the Breville Espresso Touch Impress Machine. Took me about a year of thinking if it was really worth to get one for our home use. After trying my neice's Breville the second time we visited, my son and I already decided that this is it. Soon as we got back home from vacation, I started checking the Breville website and Amazon. We ended up getting one from BestBuy due to its ease of purchasing online and having it delivered in a couple of days. Since I was purchasing an item that cost quite a few pennies, having the store warranty gives me the peace of mind in the event that something unforeseen might happen to the unit while at home. Once you've tried making your own cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, or even just hot water for your tea, I can assure you that you will never go back to a Keurig coffee maker nor will you think of going to Starbucks anymore. My family just can't get enough of what we can do with our Espresso machine.

Exactly as advertised. I researched and reviewed many different models before choosing this one. I did not know anything about making espresso therefore I needed something that would walk me through it. I also didn’t want to be tied to one brand of cups, beans, or pods. This does not disappoint. I’ve tasted excellent espresso from big brand shops, local shops while traveling, other brands at my friends houses. This is by far the best tasting espresso I’ve tasted. The best part about it is now I can have it daily and alter grinds, beans, times, froths, etc. it calibrates everything and informs you of whats needed or not needed to perfect the perfect cup. The touch screen, instructions, grinder, top notch. I am extremely impressed and satisfied with my purchase.

We bought the Breville Espresso maker almost a month ago and have loved it. It truly makes the process of making different coffee drinks so easy while still allowing you to do some things manually if wanted. It is an investment at over $1200 but we haven't regretted it one bit. We compared quite a few other brands that have similar features but found this model to be the best in our eyes based on the price point.

I honestly wish I had bought this sooner. This machine has already paid for itself just from not going to Starbucks every morning. The coffee quality is incredible rich, smooth, and better than most coffee shops once you dial it in. It’s easy to use, feels solid and well-built, and makes café-quality drinks right at home. Lattes, cappuccinos, americanos everything comes out consistently great. I actually look forward to making coffee now instead of rushing out the door and spending $6–$7 a cup. If you’re on the fence because of the price, don’t be. The savings add up fast, and the convenience alone is worth it. This has become part of my daily routine and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Highly recommend.

Best espresso maker I've had by far. The impress touch makes everything so simple and the coffee comes out perfectly each time. No mess, no guesswork. It even tells me if I need to adjust settings when I use different coffee. Its best features are the grinder/puck management and the new milk steamer system. I've had a Breville on my countertop for ten years now--they are workhorses. If you want a great (not cheap) espresso machine, I highly recommend this one.

As someone new to home espresso, this machine is straightforward for beginners, with a touchscreen that walks you through the process. The Impress Puck System handles tamping automatically, so you get consistent results without much work. It steams milk on its own for drinks like lattes, which I find very convenient. The machine has a solid metal build which I really like and heats up fairly quickly for brewing. The built-in grinder works okay for regular use, though it might not satisfy those who are very particular about coffee. In general, it’s a great option for home cafe-style drinks without too much effort.

The touchscreen is fast and intuitive, guiding you through drinks and settings with zero guesswork. The Impress system (auto-dosing and assisted tamping) keeps shots consistent and reduces mess. The ThermoJet system heats up in seconds, which makes a real difference in daily use.

I purchased the Breville Barista Touch about five years ago, which easily paid for itself within a year, saving me time, money, and fuel going to Starbucks/Peet's four or five times per week. It was one of the best appliance purchases I have ever made, producing barista quality lattes at a fraction of the retail price. After purchasing the Barista Touch Impress, I gave the still perfectly working after all these years due to high quality Barista Touch to a friend who similarly does the coffee run a few times a week. Now they don't have to. It takes a few times to get the hang of it, but the "Impress" part of the machine is truly a game changer. It's not clear in the instructions, but basically all you have to do is start with the base settings of the grind and quantity of time that it grinds. You pull the lever twice as indicated and if the display shows "a bit more" then you select that and pull the lever twice again. Once it is at the proper height, you will see the green check mark. You're then done with tamping and can proceed to brew! It actually learns and adjusts the timing based on the previous grind but things can vary so sometimes you will get a perfect measure and other times you will have to add until you get the check mark. The other thing I love is there is the work area is taller so whereas I used to have to angle my cup to get under the portafilter, I can now just slide it in. So bravo to Breville for building a new and improved machine. It even foams better than the old Barista Touch. This is a winner as well as all of the other great high quality Breville products!

Love the Breville - Barista Touch Impress Espresso Machine. It is very easy to use and makes wonderful coffee. The various options are great and the machine makes it easy to make coffee, tea and frothed milk. It is easy to load the beans, fill the water and empty the water deposit area. Only negative is some taller coffee cups don't fit under the drip. But the machine overall fits great under the cabinet.

This machine is so easy to use and clean, I wish I bought one years ago. We use it at least once every day and sometimes up to 4 or 5 times a day. Build quality is amazing. This and our Breville steak maker are the best purchases we've made.
