Although you get alerts of some issues, it does not on problems with the grinder, instead of letting you know the hopper is stack with the beans going in, it keeps continuing to tell to keep grinding. Guidance on helping you to make a better coffee is not as reliable and results on wasting lots of coffee. I returned it. Reviews show Breville lasting limitations.

Was a wonderful product... WAS.
Started flickering and malfunctioning a couple times. I would just unplug it and start again... but then it malfunctioned during a brew then again during the frothing. Completely turned off and wont turn back on!!! Pretty upset for how much the machine cost.

When you turn on the espresso machine, it’s loud,,.,when you’re trying to make the handcrafted coffee. It’s loud…..not very quiet.

Beautiful and great features, however, the coffee just doesn't come out hot enough, especially when making a latte or other milk infused drink. I boiled a pot of hot water to preheat my coffee cup, the portafilter, filter and milk jug which helped, but the latte's still were only hot for a few sips. The side arm puck press is a great feature and way less messy than hand pressing the puck, but auto indicator for puck height did not always work. And lastly, the grinder started getting jammed within a week.
