Save Your Money - Grab an Essenza Mini

BUT! The espresso quality is very lack luster. You’re paying for the quality metal exterior of the machine, and the tech that went into the built in “steam wand”. The espresso is the most important part of making any sort of mixed hot beverage. Sure it does great with the milk, but in a controlled experiment with my Essenza Mini the difference is massive. The Essneza brings out a bolder flavor, thicker crema and overall mouth feel is better. DO NOT WASTE your money on this machine. Just get an essenza mini and their Aeroccino 4 frother.

I pretty much use it every day, which saves me money in the long-term. I haven't had any issues with it for the past year and I think the flavors are soooo much better than any coffee-shop drink. I especially like making caramel macchiatos with ice, milk, a shot of espresso, and caramel sauce :) If you are thinking about getting it, get it during the holidays when it is on sale. You won't regret it!

When it died we replaced it with the Creatista Plus and we really love it. It does a fantastic job of creating the right kind of milk froth for many different drinks. It leads you thru the process of each kind of coffee and lets you adjust the parameters to meet you preferences.
