It is very well-made, and quite aesthetically pleasing, with the exception of the fact that it has, Braville burned into either side that you turn it. I prefer not to see brand names, staring at me from all corners of my kitchen. But my real issue with this product, is the way that it echoes the sound of every chop from underneath the board. Not only does it echo, but it amplifies the sound. I find it almost unbearable to prepare anything on my granite countertops with this thing.
