I love this toaster. It looks great and stays pretty clean. It’s very easy to use and I found no issues with how it toasts. I’ve made various kinds of items including bagels, waffles, and everything from sourdough bread to 12 grain bread and it toasts just the right amount. I highly recommend this toaster.

Toast is toast right. Our old toaster was inconsistent. Grandchildren seem to require a truely alarming amount of toast. Decided to spend a little extra and try a highly rated toaster. It is everything the reviews boost of. Consistent toast, deals with frozenbagels etc. Best toaster I have ever used.

To me if you are going to spend money for a top of the line product it should be for something you use almost every day: your car, your computer, your cell phone, your television…and yes your toaster! The Breville 2-Slice Smart Toaster does exactly what many other reviews have mentioned-it makes a perfect slice of toast every time! We have used it just about every day for 6 months without any problems. It looks good and works well, and image its probably the last toaster we will ever need. Well worth the money.

We bought this toaster more than a year ago. We use it every day for toast and at other times to heat up other types of breads. We make our own bread, and that is more challenging to toast evenly. Further the bread maker we use makes a traditional loaf of bread, and it comes out taller than traditional store bought loaves. As a result, with previous toasters we would need to toast it one way, then flip the bread over and toast it the other way. The deep slots on this toaster address that problem. In addition, this makes to most consistently toasted bread of any toaster I have ever used. The other features are very nice to have, but the two I mentioned here were the two most important features we were looking for. Yes, this is a very expensive toaster. But for us, who use it every day, it is worth the price for its features and consistency. We would buy it again without hesitation.

This toaster works perfectly for toaster strudels to a larger size item like a bagel. It toasts evenly and looks great on your counter.

The Breville 2 slice smart toaster is excellent! All you do is push one button & the rest is automatic. It even lets you see if the bread is toasted enough for your liking. And if you want the bread toasted more, then that is just a one button push also. This is a really good toaster.

I love this toaster. It cooks toast perfectly every time using the A little bit more button.

I love how it reacts the bread inside with just a push of a button. You take away the risk of springs breaking and it toast it exactly how I want it every time

I did a lot of research prior to deciding to spend the money on this expensive toaster. Our experience is most toasters do not work well. They toast at whim rather than based on a "setting"; either toasting one side of the bread and not the other or burning it. We have used this daily for almost a month and it has worked great. Toasting both sides evenly. This brand does not go on sale anywhere because I watched prices all over the internet for a few months before determining I would not be able to get it on sale.

I knew this was a great toaster, but every now and then you get one that "acts up" and this one did. A thin bun was toasting. When it was done, the Breville would not move the bun up, and all the lights flashed. According to the instructions, this was due to a stuck piece of toast and is a safety feature to prevent fires. Good. Then we unplugged (as stated in the manual), but then the next day--same thing happened with a completely different bread. We returned that one and got another. The toasting is wonderfully even, on both sides, and the toaster is built like a tank, except ours had a tread missing or something. Anyway, would not hesitate to recommend.

A toaster is a toaster is toaster. Not anymore - this thing is so cool. My wife asked for this toaster for our anniversary - ok we've been married a long long time. Toasts frozen items, bagels one side - you can interrupt a cycle to check status and it picks up where it left off. Not my mother's toaster. Most of my favorite tools are in my garage but I do like this one.

This toaster makes quality toast and is easy to use. Highly recommended.

This is the best toaster we have ever owned. Cost a bit more than other toasters in stock, but worth every penny. The "take a peek" and "a bit more" buttons let YOU stay in control of toasting all breads.

I've been using this toaster for a couple of years now. Aside from a couple of times where it would turn on by itself and not turn off, I love it. The "little more" option has in handy a couple of times. I like the gentle *beep* of when toasting is done and the look of it. It's a great addition to any home.

The descriptions says it all. The light bar actually shows you how close it is to 'being done'; no guessing as to how long it has been or how much time is left. The Lift and Look and A Bit More work great!

Never knew i was a toaster snob until I purchased this toaster. Really easy to use and makes great toast, bagels, and waffles.

Very happy with this toaster. I have several Breville products and all are great. Love the even toasting and the "a bit more" option. Looks great in the kitchen too.

Excellent product with great automatic features and the brushed cast stainless/aluminum type finish looks good and hides fingerprints and smudges
