I purchased this model after the lower Breville model did not fit my juicer needs. It's been about 8 months now and I could not be happier. Clean up is a breeze and is a work horse. Just read past reviews and you will know what I mean.

I really wanted to love the Breville Juice Fountain Elite! All Stainless steel, it’s quality is undeniable! You’d be proud to display this on your counter tops! I saw one review describe it as the BMW of juicers! Yeah... however, when it comes to juicers, you really want more of a horse & buggy! As soon as I saw the pulp spraying out of the back like a snow blower, I knew immediately maximum RPM’s is not what I’m looking for. I’m replacing my very first juicer, a Jack LaLanne Centrifugal that I paid $99 for and lasted for over 15 years. The pulp from that was drier then the pulp from the Breville that I paid $260 for with the BBY discount. So in essence I’m paying way more for way less juice yield!!! Ultimately, I decided to return the Breville and go with the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer. Upon juicing the very first time with the Kuvings, I realized all rave with Masticating Juicers. More yield and a way better quality of juice. My first juicer I bought for better health, This second juicer ... is for healing. For those reasons I want max vitamins & nutrients! I Drink to healing! Cheers!

I'm new to juicing so I was surprised to learn you DO have to peel citrus fruits. Duh..! ANd who knew veggie juice would be so disgusting? But, it is healthy so give it a try.
But keep in mind, by the time you wash, prepare and juice your fruits and veggies you have a sticky mess to clean up. THe filter is difficult to clean. It comes with its own scrub brush. After first use, I scrubed the filter with brush and put it in the dishwaher. lt had 'fur' growing on the filter when I went to use it the second time. So it is very important and very diffult to clean. It is going back for something less expensive.
