I guess I look at it this way; you have to clean up pots and pans after cooking dinner. It is part of the process. Certain fruits work better than others, it is a learning experiment. So far this juicer has worked fine and hopefully will continue to work for a long time. We like to make smoothies on a hot summer day.

Ok for a open/no box item

Clean up is easy. My only problem is that as a open/no box items that was still over a hundred dollars. It had no instruction manual. No information at all from the store. They did day the would honor the warranty.
