I can't complain about the coffee the machine makes, its second to none. The machine is easy to use and very straightforward. My issue lies with the quality of the machine for the price and the non-existent support you get from Breville. This is my second machine and after 12 to 18 months of ownership the same issue occurs. It makes a buzzing \ clicking sound that can only be stopped by unplugging the appliance. Sometimes the machine can be powered off and start making a the same noises. It's gotten to the point where I disconnect it from the wall as it truly sounds like the machine is shorting out and definitely don't want the issue happening when I'm not at home. Breville takes ages to response to support tickets then makes up every excuse under the sun why its a scaling issue and to descale the machine yet it still happens afterwards. They have no at home service and expect you to take the machine to UPS\FedEx and get a box from them to ship it back. For the price of the machine it's pretty poor. You just need to google the issue and you'll see it a common problem with this machine. I took the extended warranty out with Best Buy so will be taking mine back to the store for repair but after spending $5000 on 2 machines over the last few years I think this will be the last time I purchase a Breville coffee machine. It's not a one off problem, its a common problem with the Oracle Touch and again, for the money they need to build a better quality machine. If you are intending on purchasing this machine be sure to take out the extended warranty because you'll no doubt need it. Makes great coffee but is let down by the build quality and support.

This is a great machine. There is a slight learning curve, but here are a few tips after 2 years of use. 1) Only use beans with a roast date on them and try not to use old beans. Sell by datwa are not fresh beans. Try Mostra Coffee or Little Waves. Avoid super oily beans. 2) Get a scale. Amount of grinded beans to output shouls be measured initially. Use youtube to learn the ratios. 3) I have always set the grind from 19-22 and adjust dependent upon beans and scale reading. 4) Adjust the amount of coffee being grinded; use the tool provided to adjust the amount. Plenty youtube videos on this. Once tou perfect to your liking youll realize how many better beans are out there than sbux and other large chains.

This coffee machine is great, so many options to get your coffee exactly how you want it. Easy clean up and it even has a timer to turn on and heat up so its ready for you in the morning.

As a starter , I think the auto tamping feature is pretty useful and convenient. This is a very convenient machine. The box came without the water hardness strips. So wanted to remove half a star but cannot . This machine is very expensive and one can get all the functaionites in cheaper price too.

Did I mention, I love this thing? Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth every single penny? Absolutely. The first cup is perfect. And every cup since has been. When I moved, I loved this machine so much I refused to let anyone carry/move it aside from me. Buckled it into my front seat. I can't recommend this product enough.

The Oracle Touch is an amazing Espresso machine. While someone with more knowledge could have figured out the grind size for each type of coffee bean -I wasn't able to figure this part out. The size of the grind is the only thing that you have to figure out on this machine - it does literally everything else for you. But at $2500 - I decided it was too much for me and I went with the Barista touch which is $1500 less. I'm still figuring out the grind size - but it doesn't seem as hard on this less expensive machine that is amazing too!!!

If you have no idea how to make espresso this is the machine for you. It really is as easy as selecting your drink and pressing the buttons. It's rather pricey, but it is a very high-quality machine. Minus 1 star for the cost.

This thing does it all! And makes it easy!!! The coffee comes out great tasting and the milk is nice and frothy. Very simple use and the machine is very well made, all stainless and heavy duty parts. This thing weighs a ton!!! Love it. A little pricey, but well worth it for the quality of the machine you get as long as it lasts a while and you stop doing Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Would give this thing 100 stars. One of the best item I purchased. When family got Starbucks just about everyday basically pays for a machine like this. Ever since we owned it haven’t been to Starbucks again except for the whole coffee bean.

This is the most amazing espresso maker I've ever owned with all the features it offers. The machine does require some tweaking with grind, frothing etc, but there are several helpful videos on set up on YouTube. I also have the Breville Touch espresso maker which requires self tamping, but works great also.

I can make “national coffee chain”-quality drinks in my pajamas without leaving my house (not to mention saving me $6 each time)! My husband and I are happy we made this investment and glad we went with the more automated model (pre-defined drink selections, automatic tampering, and self-cleaning steam wand) as they save much hassle and time. :)

I love this espresso machine. It makes me get excited to get up in the morning to make my cafe latte. I can make my latte in less that 5 minutes. All the process is so smooth.Machine is very easy to use. Worth every penny. I just hope it will lasts for years.

Best high end coffee machine to get if you want quality cafe-like espresso without all the work (unless you like to grind and tamp yourself). It's quick and easy. Some say 22g is a lot but I like it that amount instead of 18g. Milk texture comes out perfectly each time.

In Home Barista!!! Easy to use, easy to clean. But warning, you need a bean of the quality of this machine, cheap roast will taste good if not very good, but espresso roasts that are fresh will really come through.

Ive gone through 6 of these for various reasons. Lucky for me i bought the best buy warranty with it and became a total tech member later on. 5 stars if youre a total tech member and own this machibe because something will go wrong. Not a matter of if, but when. Seriously! Ive had a few blown gaskets, one flatout short ciruited on me, a couple pumps that broke, etc. quality control on Breville is asinine, but they built an aesthetically pleasing machine. So if you buy make sure to buy it with a total tech membership.

I am a self proclaimed "coffee snob" where I have been researching espresso machines for the past six months and decided for our budget and needs in a home machine that the Oracle Touch is what we wanted. We have had it home now for over a month now and we are pleased with the product. We followed the directions and it does what it says. We like the automatic features for grinding, tamping, and creating our own signature drinks too. The ability to vary the grind has been helpful as we try out the local roasted espresso beans as not all beans are the same. I like almond milk in my lattes and flat whites where I find dialing up to 160 degrees with cinnamon in the milk is perfecto! You will be happy that you bought the Breville - Oracle Touch!

This is my fourth espresso machine, second Breville. It is so easy to use in comparison to the previous machines. The best thing is the consistency of the shots and the wonderful froth that it creates. My wife never used the other machines because she hated how precise everything needed to be, but now she uses this one several times a day. Also, it is so fast. You can steam the milk while getting your cup ready and grinding the coffee, then start the shot so that the milk and the shot are ready at the same time. I absolutely love this machine and think that the extra money was totally worth the ease of use.

Makes great espresso drinks. Excellent frothing. Easy to use.
