Posted .Most of the time when someone says their juicer isn't producing as much juice, or it's getting wet pulp or leaking, it is due to the Nutridisk/filter basket being clogged. The natural lifetime of a Nutridisk is 9-12 months, depending on use. If the filter basket is newer, please make sure it's clean enough to see through the mesh.

Blend, Juice, or Bluice in Style!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll be totally upfront, when it comes to juicing I am a total novice. Bluicing - huh, is that a thing? I have to say though, after using the Breville 3X Bluicer, I’m kind of hooked. I’m going to start by saying - this thing is a behemoth. While this won’t take up your entire counter, this is certainly not a small, discreet appliance. I mean it does come with a 50oz. container after all. It sure does look great sitting on the counter though. There is a very aesthetically pleasing feel and design to this Bluicer. Assembly is easy and very intuitive. From unboxing to fully assembled, setup took less than 10 minutes even without using the included directions. Disclosure - I did go back and look at the assembly instructions just to make sure I had everything correct. Cleanup is nearly just as easy. Everything disassembles quite easily and most surfaces clean with simple running water. Anything that doesn’t completely rinse off with water there is an included soft scrub brush to finish the job. There is a self cleaning mode which works great, but of note this only works for the blender not the juicer. The blender has five speed settings and four single touch program settings. I found the blender to perform flawlessly with everything from blending a simple smoothie to crushing ice. The juicer is where I feel this Breville appliance really shines. Beginning with the quite large chute, which is capable of accommodating most full sized foods that typically would need to be cut, such as oranges and apples. For anyone new to juicing there is an included guide to help determine the proper speed setting for particular food types. Simply select the desired speed setting, place your item(s) in the chute, and gently use the plunger to feed the food(s) into the juicer. The cutting disc makes short work of anything you place into the chute. It took about 20 seconds to juice two oranges. Speed does not equate to a lack of quality. You actually get the best of both worlds. This machine extracts about every last drop of juice, produces great tasting juice, and extremely dry pulp - like really dry. There is a large 50oz container for juicing large quantities. With the included juicing nozzle you can remove the large container and juice directly into a smaller cup or bottle. This may sound odd but I found myself wanting to use this appliance. It’s actually quite fun. Even my 6 year old daughter enjoys helping make fresh juice and smoothies. Side benefit is your producing healthy and delicious products. Switching between juicing and blending is incredibly easy. Remove the juicer, attach the blender and your ready to go. I don’t think Breville could make this any easier. I also want to point out, with the design, spin technology, and wired filter basket you really do end up with pulp-free juice. No seeds, pits, pulp, or other unwanted parts. This is a well-built, premium device that works even better than advertised. I have no doubts we will continue using the Breville 3X Bluicer frequently in our home.

Posted .Leaking is usually due to either the produce being forced through the chute too quickly, or because the Nutridisk/filter basket being clogged.
When feeding the produce through the chute, please make sure you're just guiding it down, rather than pressuring it down.
Regarding the filter basket, you'll want to make sure you can clearly see through the mesh after each cleaning. CLEANING YOUR FILTER BASKET https://youtu.be/UhkQHHXEjrA The natural lifetime of a Nutridisk is 9-12 months, depending on use. If after doing this cleaning, you can't see clearly through the disk as shown in the video, then your next step would be replace the Nutridisk. Blender+Juicer=Bluicer?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd like to begin with a warning. When I first saw the picture of this thing, I assumed it would take up roughly the same footprint as your average blender while in juicer mode, having never owned a juicer before myself and therefore not knowing that they needed a fairly large collection bin for all the pulp they generate. It's about twice the size of what I was expecting, leaving me in a bit of a bind when it comes to counter space. That said, I think it might be worth figuring out a solution. The Bluicer fulfills pretty much all the claims made on the box. Over the last week I've tossed just about every fruit and vegetable I could think of into the hopper of this thing, and it's handled each one with flair. Previously I often found myself having to throw out produce that went bad while it was waiting to be eaten, but with this thing as soon as I notice that we might not be consuming it quite as fast as expected I can just throw it all in the hopper and use the results to add a bit of extra flavor to recipes, freeze it for the long haul, or just drink it to get some much needed vitamins. The pulp still ends up as compost mostly, but it still feels like progress from where I was before. Performance is just about as good in blender mode too. The pitcher design allows the blades to produce a pretty astonishing amount of suction to pull anything that might tend to float or get stuck at the top down to be shredded, noise isn't exceptional, and the locking safety bar holds everything together about as firmly as anything I've ever seen. The pre-programmed shortcuts are a bit sparse in terms of what they let you do, but all the basics are there. Finally, there's the "Bluice" mode. ...Bluice mode is basically just juicing something, putting the juice into the blender, and then blending that. You could arguably just call it margarita mode. Build quality overall is excellent. Most of the parts are machine washable, and tools are included to help clean out the bits which aren't. Clean-up times rarely ever took more than five minutes, most of which was spent disassembling and reassembling the various pieces. There is a bit of added prep needed for some fruits, most notably citrus which must be peeled before you throw it into the blender to avoid contaminating the final product with pith, but you make up for that with the fact that running the machine is basically effortless. It also doesn't add much in the way of heat as it works. Any fruit that you pull out of the fridge will produce juice that's almost as cold.

High-quality blender/juicer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using (and loving) the Breville Barista Pro for espresso, we had to try the new Breville 3x Bluicer which combines a juicer and a blender into one appliance. We have owned a lot of blenders and juicers throughout the years. With the Breville 3x Bluicer, you are getting two high-quality appliances in one box. Juicer comments: We've never owned a juicer of this quality. The feed chute is large and can fit an entire medium-sized apple into the chute. There are 10 speeds for the juicer which allows you to set the speed of the juicer to meet the need of what you're juicing (higher speeds for apples and carrots and lower speeds for grapes and oranges). What makes this a great combo appliance is that you have the juice go right into the blender and then add additional ingredients into the blender to finish your smoothie or frozen cocktail with the blender. I'm not aware of another brand with this feature. Blender comments: The machine knows what you're trying to do. If you have the blender on the machine, the blender settings will appear. If you have the juicer on the machine, the juicer settings will appear. There are several pre-sets on the control panel. One-touch buttons for Green Smoothies, regular smoothies, crushing ice, frozen cocktails and even an auto clean setting. With any juicer, cleanup is a bit of a chore, but the large and sturdy parts make it easy to clean and makes you feel like it's not fragile. It might seem a bit pricey, but you are getting a high-quality juicer and a high-quality blender so I believe the value is in the combination as well as how intuitive the controls are for both aspects of this device. The only drawback is that it is rather large so you need to have some dedicated space to store the device (and parts) when you aren't using it. This is a great appliance. We're already eating/drinking much healthier by way of this appliance.

Smoothie King
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I make a smoothie for my family every morning, and this makes my life easier. I rarely used fresh juice previously, as the juicer I had was so big and inconvenient, and meant I had to get out multiple appliances from multiple cabinets. It's sat up on the shelf for years, only used once or twice. Enter the Bluicer. The juice extracts directly into the blender, and switching from the juicer accessories to the blender for the single base is simple. There's a smoothie button that you push and it runs for about a minute automatically, pulsing every so often to let things settle before blending again. So you just set it, and forget it. My family raves about the smoothies, and it's an easy way to get my kids to consume veggies such as carrots and kale. If you've ever used a juicer, you'll know that cleaning it afterwards is a real pain with all the different pieces and pulp everywhere. Unfortunately, this doesn't solve that problem, and I'm not sure there is really a solution. But at least this is much easier to put away and saves me valuable storage space. Highly recommend.

Love this bluicer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This blender/juicer is fantastic. It is so easy to use even for someone with no previous juicer experience. The settings on the machine make it simple to quickly handle whatever you want to juice. The instruction booklet provides you with the setting number you use for each component to take the guesswork out of it. This juicer is very powerful and took care of three apples in less than 2 seconds. The size of the pulp trap allows you to juice several ingredients without having to constantly stop and clean out. The included cleaning brush does super fast work on the filter/blades. The blender settings also are so easy to use. The folding motion of the smoothie setting is really cool and makes for a really smooth consistency. It also crushes ice with ease to your desired level. Breville also has several recipe ideas on their website to help give you guidance. The quality of the motor and all of the components is exceptional. Everything just seems effortless with it. I highly recommend!

Great Blender... Juicer... Bluicer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We looking for a new blender and got an opportunity to experience the Bluicer. And it's awesome. Made our first smoothies in the unit and it was awesome. It's really powerful and a pleasure to use. Blended frozen fruit and ice with no trouble. This unit takes up extra space on the counter, since it really is two appliances, a juicer and a blender. We don't make smoothies every day, so we store it in a cabinet under the counter. The unit was well packaged and this was our second experience wit Breville. We also have Breville mixer, which was also of high quality, so we expected the Bluicer would be too and we were not disappointed. Clean-up is straightforward and most of the parts are dishwasher safe, which is great. Overall, we are really satisfied with the unit and are looking forward to using it again and again.

A solid machine that takes the place of two others
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are deeply into juicing, the Bluicer is a really fantastic kitchen tool for you. If you like juicing, but hate the cleanup, the Bluicer made cleaning easier, but it’s still a chore. If you have limited space for storage, or you have limited space by your electrical outlets, the Bluicer is possibly going to be a bit of a challenge. At the end of the day, though, the Bluicer is a Breville and so well thought out, a joy to use, and very stylish. I’d give it a 5 star rating, but my cabinets and electrical outlets make it a real challenge to fit all the juicing attachments on at a good angle for use. It’s possible, but awkward. Also, there is some drippage to clean up. Things I love about it: Having one base to both juice and blend really does save space. I can finally get rid of the crap juicer and the crap blender. The base seems strong, durable, and well made. I especially love that there are very few places where dirt can hide. It wipes clean. All the pieces fit together perfectly. You know that it’s ready to go. The blender jug is BPA free, which matters to me. The juicer blade and mesh is quickly cleaned by the included cleaning brush. It cleaned up easier, cleaner, and faster than any other juicer blade and mesh I’d ever used. Frankly, I gave it a star because of how well it cleaned up. Things I felt could be improved: It’s not Breville’s fault that I have a small, awkward house, but having to find space for all the differently shaped parts is a challenge both for use and for storage. Drippage. There’s drippage from the blender jug every single time I open the spout. Now that I am aware of it, I’ll always have a rag in place, but I think that spout could have had a bit more engineering. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat to fmy juice loving friends, and juice curious friends.

My New Favorite Thing!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am loving this Bluicer. I have made smoothies, a puree from butternut squash and orange juice so far. Each one of these came out great. For the blender part, it is fantastic. It is a great size container. I absolutely love the preset functions for smoothies and ice/pulse. The smoothies come out perfect. I have done both thawed and frozen with great results. The puree I made was the perfect texture. I used a mix of #5 and pulse for about 30 seconds. It was awesome. Now, for the juicer part. I have never owned a juicer before, so I don't have anything to compare it to but it works very well. It separates the pulp and juice very well and the giant pulp container is perfect for what it's made to do. I like a bit of pulp in my orange juice, so all I had to do was take some from the pulp container and boom. Perfect OJ just the way I like it. Now, clean up for the whole thing is so easy. It rinses really well with warm water and the self clean function works great for the blender, especially when using frozen fruits. The look of the unit is very sleek and fits in well with my kitchen. I think it would look good in any kitchen. Overall, I am so pleased with this bluicer and I think this should be the must have for everyone.

Love the Bluicer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second juicer, the first was over 20 years ago, and I'll just say they have moved ahead by light years. First off the Bluicer is a juicer and a blender, this the name Bluicer. When the Bluicer first arrived, I was a bit take back by the size of the box. But after unpacking, it is smaller than I anticipated and fits nicely on my kitchen cabinet. I washed everything up prior to use and put it together to start juicing some apples, carrots and oranges I had in the kitchen. First off, the motor is powerful and made easy work of these items. The juice was virtually pulp free and the pulp was very dry, this is a good thing. I imagine this Bluicer will handle any type of fruit or vegetable you throw at it. Next up was milkshakes, the Bluicer made smooth, creamy, and delicious milkshakes. Given the super powerful motor, the fact that you have a powerful blender and juicer in one hybrid device, I would highly recommend this Bluicer. It has quickly become one of my favorite things.

More then you need.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start off the box this comes in will scare you as it is huge. Once you get everything out you will notice that it doesn’t take all that much counter space but it does have so many useful parts: 1. 50fl oz blending jug. Awesome to have and useful but for me I put it aside until I need it. 2. Cleaning brush. Laugh if you want but I think it’s awesome that they include this cleaning brush. 3. Juicing speed selection guide sheet... It is a sheet that they include that is great as it tells you what speed to use for juicing different fruits/veggies. So with that out of the way, very good quality all around easy to use easy to clean and so convenient over what I was using before! There is really not much that you have to worry about or will confuse you with this juicer, The negatives: 1. The pulp container (dishwasher safe) is large. I guess that’s good but also bad if you wanted more compactness.
