Lots of settings to dial in what you like. Handles Bagels with no problems. Like the "just a little more setting".

It has been almost a year since we have had this toaster. It was a treat to myself on my birthday, I am a lover of all things toast and had been blowing through toasters forever.
This one is amazing... it looks cool, has two long slots that can fit a total of 4 pieces in there.
I have put this toaster to the test for sure and it’s not even flinching... love it!!!

Rich in features but very user friendly. It almost made me glad that my old toaster threatened to catch fire. I don’t miss the old 2-slice-only-standard-size-bread toaster at all. Now we can do 4 slices of fine thick or thin sliced bread, several pastries or two bagels at once. I really like the bagel feature and easy darkness control. Welcome home great toaster

My wife and I were looking for a replacement toaster for our old Cuisinart toaster that gave up the ghost. We decided to try The Bit More 4 Slice Toaster from Breville, a quality brand. This model has 2 long slots that can accommodate 4 slices of bread, so it is a long and narrow toaster.
One problem that this unit has is the heating elements in each side are divided, i.e.; 2 slots, 4 heating elements, which leaves about a 1 1/2 " gap in the center. With wide slices of bread, like some brands of rye, you get a section of the bread that is not the same level of browning. Or, even with a smaller slice, the edge of one slice will not be toasted completely.
Also, the controls are on the end of the toaster and most people are going to place it on their counter with the long side facing them. In this manner, you cannot see the controls. We returned this model and bought the more expensive Breville Toaster with the 4 wide slots and independent controls for each side. It was well worth the extra money we spent on the larger toaster to have evenly done toast on a variety of breads.
