Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the 'A Bit More 4-Slice Long-Slot Toaster' for its consistent toast quality and convenient long slots. Users appreciate its ease of use, overall performance, and design. The toaster's capacity is also noted as a positive, especially for accommodating wider bread types, but some customers feel the price is too high.

I am so happy!! Even toasting on all 4 slices! Check toasting progress without having to start a new cycle! Stylish design. I can also fit the larger and sometimes thicker deli breads into the toaster slots. The 'Add A Bit More" button is great for adding a small amount more toasting time if needed. I really do like this toaster

This Breville long-slot toaster is the second Breville appliance we have purchased in less than a year. Its design is well thought out, with controls on the front, “a little bit more” toasting capability, long and wide slots that can hold all sorts of breads, English muffins and bagels, and a unique finger hole to make the plug easy to pull out of the socket. Plus, it looks great on the counter. The only issue I have is that the toast hardly rises above the top of the toaster. If you have long, skinny bread slices, you need something to get the toast out of the toaster. This Breville toaster is worth the price, and I expect to use it for a long time.

You know you are old when a new small appliance excites you but after 6 months of our old toaster hit or miss toasting it was time. The last 2 toasters were $40 ones and they both lasted 2/3 years each. So broke down and invested in this in hopes I can get at least 7/10 years. Wide enough and long enough to hold anything you throw at it. Bagels, Sourdough, waffles etc it gives them a beautiful brown brown crisp (after a little playing with the setting). The,,"just a little more" button is great. Now all we can do is how it lasts.

Low profile, sleek look, and superior controls. The LEDs count down the toasting time and the "a bit more" function is actually useful. Looks and feels like a quality toaster.

Breville is a brand I have never heard of until I bought their highly recommended Juicer. 5 years and that juicer is still juicing great. They have reasonably priced replacement parts too when you break them. Well the toaster should last as long. Only had it for month in a half and works as advertised. Its bigger then most and the slots are great for the variety of bread that we like. Toaster is a higher powered one and gets really hot on top. Cool sides. Heavy duty cord 3 prong. Love the little bit more button well worth the money for the european quality you get.

Really great toaster! Got it for my family and it’s perfect. Can easily hold 4 slices and is one of the few toaster we have had to be able to do rye or Italian loafs (the wide ones). All around perfect, the bit more option is a nice touch as well

First one I received had a horrible dent. Best Buy returned with no question. Beautiful, but I do not think there is an element in the middle to toast long slices. Threw a normal slice in the middle of the long slot and it toasted on the sides. Not in the middle of my bread slice. I’m still trying to work this out when I have more time. Also, have yet to try my sourdough, which is really wide/long. Love the other features. Check without popping up, toast a bit more, 2 long slots instead of 4, etc. I have decided I’ll flip my piece of bread if it doesn’t heat in the middle as the other features are unlike other toasters out there. For the most part that won’t be a problem. Just found it odd that an artisan piece is pictured on the box, but I don’t actually think it will toast it in the middle part. Could be wrong though. I’d like to know if others found his to be a problem. Price. It’s ok. A little on the high end.

    Off to a Rough Start

Great toaster but we got off to a rough start. It arrived in the manufacturer's box, totally unsealed - no tape, NOTHING ! There was no paperwork inside - no manual, etc. & the toaster did have a few quirks that needed explaining. Sorry, but I went To Amazon, who also sells this toaster & copied their pdf file for the manual. This helped me figure out why the "Cancel" light was constantly on, etc. Once I ironed out the kinks, the toaster works as promised. I do like the "Progress" lights on the front, but do feel the center coils could do a better job of browning. Seems these days, getting a toaster that does its job, is a bit of a tall order. My old one lasted 25 years & never missed a beat ! The Breville looks solid & will hopefully serve me well. We shall see....

Love this toaster. Breville is a brand that has always impressed me. I love how I can easily toast basic sliced bread as well as wider, artisan style bread without having to cram the slices in or toast only one end at a time. Also love the “a bit more” feature. Just hit it and it gives just that- a bit more toasting without overdoing it. Has a nice crumb tray that slides out the bottom, making cleaning super easy. Really nice toaster.

This toaster makes a mean toast! The slider controls make getting the perfect toast a breeze! The oversized openings are great for artisan bread which tends to be bigger than normal bread. The little bit more button is perfect for that added toastiness! One minor complaint are pop tarts being smaller have a tendency to fall through to the bottom of not placed on the center holder, and even then it’s a little tricky. I found myself turning the toaster on its side for easy removal of said pop tart.

This toaster has great features, a button for toasting bagels, one for frozen bread/bagels, and a little bit more so that you get the right amount of toasting. It also has a light up timer that counts down as your toast is almost done. We’ve gotten nice, even toasting, haven’t had any problems with this. We’ve had it about a month. The outside is a fingerprint resist stainless steel which is very helpful and it’s a nice looking appliance on the counter.

We love this toaster! We had a Breville Toaster Oven and it's been great. We recently purchased a new kitchen suite so didn't really need the toaster oven any more - opted for a pop-up instead. The large slots allow for all different sizes of bread. From bagels to waffles to homemade breads, everything comes out evenly toasted. We love the slimness of it as well - more counter space!
