Customers frequently mention the 'A Bit More 4-Slice Long-Slot Toaster' for its consistent toast quality and convenient long slots. Users appreciate its ease of use, overall performance, and design. The toaster's capacity is also noted as a positive, especially for accommodating wider bread types, but some customers feel the price is too high.

After a few months of use, I can say this is a really nice toaster. Coming from back to back Cuisinart long slot toasters that each lasted a maximum of two years before breaking down, I can say this Breville has all the features you need. Nice even toasting and “a bit more” button that I seem to use on a regular basis. You can also pop the toast up for viewing without interrupting the cycle which is another nice feature. If the Breville hopefully last several years, I’d say it’s a way better value than the Cuisinart.

A Very Good Toaster

Overall, I really like this toaster. It has a great look and toasts evenly. I especially like the way the slots allow for larger pieces of bread, bagels or 4 slices of regular bread. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I had to take back the first one because it had zones that were not heating up. Hence, I suspect the reliability might be a bit less than what a toaster at this price point should be.

The toaster works great. As a side note, since the toaster has only one setting for 4 pieces of bread, be sure to use the same type of bread. We like different types so getting the toast right takes us a little longer since one of us has to use the "A little more" button. Other than that, this toaster is easy to use and takes up less room on the counter.

This is my favorite toaster so far. Takes long bread slices and can fit 4 slices of average slice bread. I love the 'a bit more" option and especially appreciate the ability to raise the handle to get the toast out without burning my fingers. Another good feature is the scale indicating how much longer to go on the selected toast cycle. Also, it's very attractive.

Had been looking for a reasonably priced long slice toaster for a little while and settled on this model as a moderately priced option that had a large number of seemingly legit good reviews already. It does a good job of accommodating long and thick slices that would otherwise be impossible to toast, and we love to eat sliced full loaves from local bakeries, so this has been a nice upgrade in that regard. The only con with long slice toasters in general is that the edges of a slice get toasted much faster than the rest of the slice, so if you put a ‘regular’ smallish piece of bread in the center of the slot, it will toast the left and right edges about twice as much as the center of the slice. It is possible to manage this a bit by simply putting the slice all the way to the left or right end of the slot, but you’ll still see the same effect on the central side of the slice even when doing that. Basically if you want evenly toasted small pieces of bread most of the time, stick with a smaller slotted model.

I like the fact you can put 4 slices of bread in with ease and it’s all stainless, but 100 bucks for a toaster? Works fine but not a 100 bucks fine. If you want this look though this is what you’ll pay. I wanted this look.

Easy to use, saves counter space by being long against the back of my counter instead of sticking out. Only complaint is that not all the heating elements turn on. Will notice that some don’t turn on at all. But still makes great toast

This toaster is big enough for my sour doe bread and does a good job tasting it. It is good looking in my kitchen and is easy to clean up. I would tell all my friends how it works and how good of a job it does. Hope this is what you needed for the review and thanks for the chance to talk about the toaster. Thanks

I had a Breville for years, but just big enough for 2 square toasts. So I ordered this wider one from Breville about 6 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I can now toast 4 toasts with ease in one setting.

The extra wide slots of this toaster accommodate my homemade sourdough slices. The “bit more” button transforms the almost-ready toast into perfectly toasted and not burnt crispness. I never imagined I’d spend $100 on a toaster, but wow! this toaster is just great!

Works great. Love the fact you can put larger pieces of bread in it to be toasted like sourdough without cutting it in half. I use the "A Bit More" button because I like my toast a little bit darker.

I love the stainless steel body and the button/light combo. Asceticely one of the bet toasters on the market. The lift and view feature is great for toasting things of varied thickness or a specific type of item for the first time. Only issue I've seen is if you want to toast something longer (which is why I bought this particular model) is the 1 inch gap between the heating elements in the center creates an uneven toast across the item. Hasn't been a huge issue for me however I still enjoy the ability to toast these long items (like hoagie rolls!) with ease.

I absolutely LOVE this Breville toaster!!! The design is sleek and accommodates thicker breads. Breville is one of my go to brands, in the past I am willing to pay a bit more for their products since they are high quality.

I’ve have gotten 30-50$ toasters and they don’t last and they don’t toast evenly but this toaster not only toast evenly but it’s wide enough and long enough for all kinds of breads and bagels and they all toast amazing.

Our old toaster was 25 years old & still worked fine. We wanted a new toaster for our newly remodeled kitchen. We found this one and loved the look right away. It toasts perfectly whether it's a slice of bread or a bagel (frozen or not). A little pricey but well worth it.

We like toasting large breads. We still have not figured the right setting. The option to add a little more time to the under-toasted bread is interesting. Over all the toaster does the job.
