Very disappointed! With the name brand Breville, and for $100, you should have excellent, even color toasting! As you can see in the pictures, the elements are not evenly heated, and there is a wide gap in the middle of the elements, all causing uneven toasting and burnt edges. The plug is large and sticks out. I will be returning this toaster and continue my quest in finding, what should be a simple appliance, that does the job like it should!

Product exceeds expectations. Love the toaster. We eat a lot of Sour Dough bread which is a larger size bread. The toaster can handle the larger size no problem, toasting the bread evenly. The controls on the front are easy to use and accurate.

I’ve seen mixed reviews of this product! So far, I am happy with mine. It works as intended. Cosmetically, it is a good looking toaster imo. A little expensive for a toaster though.

Pros: Quality, Features, Style Cons: Hard to fit most bread side-by-side Great toaster overall. I bought this model because I usually toast bread that is generally too long to fit in a normal size toaster. This solved that problem. My only complaint is that this is advertised as a 4-slice toaster, which is really pushing it. In my experience, I was not able to fit MOST "regular" sized bread I had side-by-side in one slot. I really like the countdown feature on this toaster (the LED timeout is a little long IMO) and I LOVE how you can peak at your toast without cancelling it. Glad I bought it.

Love this toaster. Works very well for longer pieces of bread. I have found the back side toasts faster than the front. The a bit more is super helpful to not burn the toast!

Best toaster ever. Gets super hot and works well with frozen items and bagels. And it looks really good on the counter if you want a high end look and makes other feel bad about having a basic toaster.

I love the fact that you can put long pieces of bread in it but that's about the best thing I can say. The sliding bar for setting how toasted you want something, seems to be all or nothing. I end up with either 'not done enough' or 'worried the smoke detector is going to go off unless i stand there watching' and hit the Cancel button when it's done to where i want it. It also toasts more on the bottom half than on the top half. I'm already considering replacing it.

Does a fine job making toast. The highlights for me: having the long slots make it easy to toast sub rolls, and it also doesn't stick out on the countertop as far as any other style.

So far once we got used to this toaster find it amazing live that fact you can fit sourdough bread in it !

Nice toaster for the one that it replaced. However a bit pricey but got good reviews. So far have no issues. You get what you pay for. We'll see!! A bit large for my counter space.

We haven't had a toaster in years, only a toaster oven. This toaster is big enough to fit a large piece of bread etc. nice toaster, and the side stay cool while using.

Purchased as a direct replacement for the same model, which we probably had for 15 years before it finally expired. Perfect toaster for our needs, hence we bought it again!

I love the "bit more" and bagel features but wish there was an option to just have half of the toaster to heat up if it is not full. My Cusinart had that feature. It is quite bulky but looks bery nice on my counter.

Toaster is very good looking. It toasts evenly except that there is a gap in the heating elements in the center of each slot. This means that there is a gap that doesn't get as toasted if you have an extra wide slice of bread. Seems like they really designed the toaster for four slices not for two extra large slices. If you are only toasting one slice of standard bread, put it to the left or right side of center not in the middle. Given that the settings are on the long side of the toaster, it would have been more convenient if they had placed the lift lever on the same side so you wouldn't need to provide access to two adjacent sides of the toaster.

Love this toaster. Wasn't cheap but definitely worth the price. Has multiple settings to toast just one side or both, for frozen waffles etc. Cooks very quickly, such a welcome change from our old toaster oven that took forever.

We like the toasting options and the larger slot for artisan breads. The top corners do toast darker, as shown in the video. I recommend using a setting lower that you think is right.

We finally found a fabulous toaster for a great price. You can put oversized pieces of bread as well as bagels and choose your settings, that actually work, to toast your item perfectly. so Happy!
