Out of the box the grinder is set too coarse and even the finest grind setting doesn't get right there. In order to get the grind fine enough the only option is to disassemble the grinder (same process as cleaning it) and then adjust the 'basket'. Search for Breville Barista Express Internal Burr Adjustment

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the fact that I calibrated it and used the same coffee beans, automatic tamper, coffee distributor the machine does not always give the same amount of liquid coffee, one day after 8 or 10 attempts I finally left it calibrated and the next day it is totally decalibrated, it has been a frustration and a waste of coffee that I am thinking of returning it, I thought it would be fun to make my own espressos but it has only been frustrating
