Can’t find any fault with this machine. It has been worth every penny paid. It tastes as good as barista coffee. I have stopped spending copious amounts of money each week on Starbucks etc.

I first purchased a Breville at BB#20 in Cedar Rapids, IA in March 2019. Within one week, that machine failed to pump water through the group head, so no espresso for me. I contacted Breville support, and they agreed to advance ship a new-in-box replacement or a $700 credit card hold. No worries, I thought, and the hold was released after I returned the defective unit. The replacement unit itself failed within six months, and wouldn't produce steam or hot water. Contacted Breville support again and another replacement unit was sent with the $700 hold and release. This third unit (second NIB replacement) has now failed again, after 10 months, and will not produce steam or hot water. Upon contacting Breville support, they now want $239 for me to send my defective unit for a repair, with no replacement, and this is after not responding to my support case for two weeks; but only after I initiated an online chat with support. The case seems clear to me, Breville cannot make a product that will last because of an obvious defect in one or more critical components, and refuses to stand behind their products.

I was skeptical at first but this espresso machine produces great coffee.

Had this machine 4 months when the steam stopped working meaning it wasn’t getting hot anymore. Kept calling the Breville ppl and they will give u the run around. U have to be persistent and keep calling. They wanted me to descale. I’m like common sense says the water gets hot but the steam doesn’t so it’s not the temp and the machine isn’t used enough to need to be descaled. I descaled. Called back and they said they needed to watch me descale via video chat. Such a waste of descaling packets. It didn’t work as I figured it wouldn’t. Then they kept trying to get me to adjust and increase the temp. Also don’t work. Finally by like the 4th or 5th call they sent me a label to send machine to be fixed. Was never told what was wrong with it after it was sent to Cali and fixed and sent back to me. Oh and call center is out sourced so it’s hard to underatand ppl. And they don’t know the machine either. They reading manual to tell u how to fix it. It’s a joke. I only had this for 4 months when steam stopped getting hot. And I barely used it. Maybe once or twice a week. But if ur machine quits working be sure to get it fixed before warranty is up!!!

It works really well no problem. Really good build quality.

This express machine was excellent for made a good Coffee.

It's been a while since I've been to any barista after I got this. No regrets.

Works great, coffe taste depends on the beans you put on and the level of grind.

love this machine it grinds my expresso perfectly. You can taste the freshness.

Breville the Barista Express has delivered an exceptional service so far. All functions have consistently worked with no issues. It takes a little tinkering to to understand the feature to operate it as you want, but it just works afterwards.

Buy great beans and this will give you great espresso

I found it hard to clean, the steam wand is wonky, and the machine slides too much when you tighten the porta filter. I like the DeLongi better. This one would be OK if it was like $400... but way overpriced IMO.

It's an excellent product that leads to warranty because coffee didn't leave one of its parts but I changed it for it because it's excellent
