This machine is worth it. It is my first espresso machine and it didn’t take very long to figure out the grinder or how to pull a shot. It’s easy to keep clean and maintain using the instructions provide by Breville. I love making my lattes at home and I think they taste better then going to a cafe. It comes with everything you need to get started. I don’t think it’s that loud consider what it is doing and it only takes a few minutes to grind and pull a shot.

Great machine that produces awesome espresso. We made one modification to raise the cups up with an after market stand. Also great looking!

Fantastic espresso machine. You get your grinder (with adjustable dosage, and two dials to change the coarseness - the second adjustment is directly inside the grinder), pump, steam wand, hot water spout and a nice tamper all in one machine!

Great starter machine, comes with everything you need. I was concerned I wouldn’t use it enough but now it’s a daily use for me that will very quickly pay for itself.

My wife and I had been using a De'Longhi basic espresso maker for years. We then tried to get one that was similar to this Breville, it was difficult to get started and kept starting up in descale mode. We returned it and bought the Breville express and couldn't be happier. This was easy to set up and get started. The built in grinder is easy to use and has 10 different settings for thickness. Very clean looking and makes deliciously strong espresso!

This espresso machine is superb considering its price point and the features it delivers. It produces exquisite coffee and it is very easy to manage and also easy to clean. Furthermore it gives your kitchen a very elegant touch and it looks very beautiful.

Awesome machine for the price. Easy to dial in the grind and pull great espresso relatively quickly if you research how to do so properly. The wand is kinda slow to get going, but that is actually a good thing if you're learning to correctly steam milk. One thing that is annoying is that the little extra storage area under the drip tray leaks condensation all the time. I wish there was a better way to seal it from water leakage, but it isn't a huge deal. The build quality and included features/accessories are just too good to pass up for the very fair price for this machine. Just buy it if you're on the fence. A great investment if you love coffee daily.

I first encountered this device while staying with friends in the Bay area. I knew I was hooked, and I resisted purchasing for three weeks after returning home - not exactly deferred gratification. But as with other Breville products that I have, this machine is quite wonderful and thoughtfully engineered. Granted, it takes some practice to get it right, and one does have to "fuss" like a barista with the preparation, however I find it fun, and I am totally in to it knowing the superb result that awaits me. Up until this purchase, I had been using a Nespresso machine, however, I just do not like their coffee: like Starbucks I find it too bitter. The availability of having fresh ground coffee, the ability to use beans of my choice, the steamer wand - all in one unit is just terrific. And the price point is attainable for this retiree. I can only highly recommend it if you are a coffee demon like myself. BTW, there are plenty of Utube videos available on line that offer excellent instructions and advice specifically directed to the Breville. So I say, go for it especially if you are at all interested. I bought mine at Best Buy knowing that I could return it if was not to my liking. Fortunately, it's become part of my morning ritual. I find myself now savoring my cuppa much slower in order to enjoy the great flavor and taste of my brew. Life is too short to not prepare my cup of ambition any other way.

I love the barista express! The espresso is smooth. It’s a little noisy but other than that works great. It’s programmable and easy enough that my teens were able to make me coffee. Also very easy to clean. Saving a lot of money on Cafe Coffee!!

I'm really happy with my espresso machine! I bought it in an attempt to simply make my coffee at home at any time of day and it has worked wel. It's super easy, and convinient. Coffee so far has tasted good. I know the steam wands on these home espresso machines are some times an issue. I'm not a trained barista, so Idk how well it does in making designs, but I am def able to warm up the milk and get my froth.

This machine is a beast. Really great espresso shots everytime. The grinder is an added bonus too. It's easy to learn and use, I'd recommend reading the manual if you are new to espresso machines.

Do you want to wake up knowing what winning is like? Do you want to feel the pervitin running through your system. Do you want to feel like you're in your 20s again and have energy. Do you want to skip the lines and Starbuck's and make a even better coffee at home, and not have to pay 10$ for a latte? Do you have that special someone you want to start the day with and have a little more " wake up" time with Well look no further! After about 65 lattes this bad boy pays for it's self.

Just buy it, you won't regret it. I wish I bought it sooner !

Works perfect, every time. I researched for weeks and kept coming back to this machine. It is simple, pulls fantastic shots of espresso and I couldn't find anything to complain about. Very professional packaging, well made parts. I am happy I bought this so we can stop funding Starbucks!

I love this thing. It taught me how to make espresso. All you “one cupper Keurigs,” can keep it. Why have a bologna sandwich when you can have a steak? Ya’ll are literally missing out! The machine is robust and comes with a lot of stuff to get started. Best Buy had it to me faster than if I went and got one myself. Them shippers don’t mess around!! Oh and find ya a good organic coffee for your machine. Worth it!

If you’re spending 200 a month on coffee highly recommend buying this ! 1 it’ll save you money 2 it’ll become a hobby 3 if you’re a person that likes routines this is perfect for you , nothing beats the coffee smell , it is going to take some getting use to but once you get the hang of it it’s life changing ! Best purchase I’ve made in years I use it everyday worth every penny

I LOVE THIS MACHINE! I purchased this last year and I have had no issues. I make about 2 coffees a day, no issues. And there are times were I have the whole family over and have to make back to back coffees, still no issues. Its easy to use, works great, I honestly cannot say enough good things about this machine. I have saved so much because I make my coffee from home now. A tip however, DO NOT THROW THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET AWAY!! It comes in handy I promise. There may be times when the machine blinks lights or seems to not work. If you reference the instruction book you will find your answer and can easily fix the problem. Sometimes It just needs a clean. Overall, I love this machine. I can't live without it now.

I love this machine. I am pretty new to making espresso. Great for learning and honing the craft of learning how to grind beans and properly froth milk.

It takes a little more time to learn but is worth the effort the espresso is restaurant quality.
