Wow!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I originally bought the Brim but had to return it because it wouldn’t make more than 2 espresso drinks at once. So I carefully considered this purchase because it was a bit more money than I wanted to spend. However, I’m glad I did, keep in Mind I’ve only had it two days so far but I’m in love! Grinder is heavy duty and well built, the machine works like a dream, wasn’t much of a learning curve at all and I’ve never owned an espresso machine before. Just read directions, watch a video, and my coffee came out perfect on the first shot. We wanted a bit more volumne of coffee so we programmed the single and double shot to dispense just a bit more. This machine is great, I’m so glad I made the purchase.

Amazing All-in-One Espresso Machine!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Barista Express makes café-quality espresso right at home. The built-in grinder is super convenient, and the milk frother works great for lattes and cappuccinos. It takes a little practice to dial in your grind and shot, but once you get it, the results are fantastic. Worth every penny!

Great Espresso Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned an "el cheapo" espresso machine before this was a giant leap because it's certainly a lot more expensive and a hard decision to make. For good espresso you need both a good coffee grinder and a good espresso machine that can handle the bar pressure needed to get that crema out of the coffee. This machine does both and I feel that I did a good decision in trying it. If you are an experienced espresso coffee maker, this should be easy, but a semi-newbie like me, it took some time to get it right where I like it. Don't expect to make your perfect espresso at the first try!! You will need to play with the machine's adjustments to make your coffee as it should be. I do hate the fact that to get the proper amount of grind, it will build a mountain and overflow. Apparently that's normal, but you can also do it two steps if you want and DON'T skimp on the amount of coffee you must put in there or you won't get the results you need. Love the fact that it comes with a tamper already. The steamer works great and easy to clean if you do it right away!!. Watch videos, over and over, to learn the what to do and not do. I use the Starbucks Espresso (white bad) coffee bean and the Italian Roast (brown bag) which are both my favorite. Expect small amount of coffee, not a cup full. it is an espresso and very concentrated. I would recommend this machine for the step up or anyone who loves Americanos, lattes, straight espresso, etc... It simplifies the need for an additional grinder where you should spend at least $200-$300 anyway. So if you've been waiting to make that decision, do it. I don't regret it so far since I now have it for a month. Noise level is reasonable as you would expect from a coffee grinder. Ok... time for coffee now that I've talked about it

Great Espresso machine!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had diferente espresso machines brands before and after some time using it the machine just gave out. I am very happy with this one and it’s been working great and I brew twice a day, had friends over one day and they loved the taste of the coffee that this machine can brew. I am not gonna lie but there’s some tricks to brew the “perfect” coffee, a couple of adjustments here and there but it’s well worth it. I am still learning how to froth the milk so I can start doing some latte art ;).

Excellent machine for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Machine is very user friendly, but I am shooting myself in the foot for not purchasing the dual boiler machine instead. The steam wand is very good, but tend to be a bit slow. The espresso quality is fantastic if you use fresh beans. The water reservoir is a bit small. The machine is very compact, relatively quiet and stays very cool compared to competitors.

Great little machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my little machine. Been using it for a few months. No more latte coffee runs. And now I get family visitors just for a cup of coffee. It helps to watch videos if you’re a first timer. Especially on how to keep it clean. I make hot drinks and my daughters make iced!

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After years of wasted coffee, I finally decided to get my husband this machine for his birthday. Man we love it. Super simple to use once you get your find amount down and how fine it needs to be you are food to go and make your own espresso in the morning. We will never go back to traditional coffee pots. This is so much better I’m saving money on not buying creamer or throwing out cold not drank coffee I’m the morning. It taste amazing and I’m so happy with this purchase. I’m not barista I watched a lot of YouTube videos to help me out in milk frothing and using the machine, still have a lot to learn. But overall I’m way satisfied with this purchase.

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to do trial and error to dial the right pressure, amount of coffee, and I did a lot of changes with the inner burr as well. The ideal is #4 for inner burr and #7 for the outer adjustment, but it really depends on your beans. There are a lot of tutorials on tiktok and youtube on how to do it :) all in all the machine works great

Breville Barista Express
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our Barista Express. Arrives in January 2024 for my wife as a push present. However, this machine comes with a learning curve!!! I would only recommend this machine for coffee lovers that want to expand their horizons with toying with different coffee beans, grind sizes, and types of coffee. It took me about 3 months to really dial in the coffee process on this machine. The first time I used it it took me 6-8 pulls of espresso to get the desired output from the machine. Now that we have found a handful of beans we love and have figured out the process, we absolutely love our machine. I think my wife has been to Starbucks only a handful of times in the year and a half that we've had this machine which was worth it lol.

Fantastic Espresso Machine for the “new normal”
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used to be a Starbucks snob up to 2-3 times a day, then the pandemic set in. At first we couldn’t go get coffee, so decided to give the machine a try..... We’ll worth it! Perfect solution since we’re working from home indefinitely & don’t really want to go out & about. Read instructions carefully. But some cheap beans to test the grinder out. We ended up settling it to the highest level. Don’t press too hard when stomping espresso, just push down with your finger; you’ll end up with a perfect shot. We also found that using the dual wall double shot filter pours the best shots.

Sooo good
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this machine. I’ve had it since late 2020 and it runs as great as day 1. Took some experimentation to get the settings right and you have to adjust the grind based on the beans but other than that I feel like a pro and have been making delicious espressos, lattes, americanos, and shaken espressos which has almost entirely replaced my afternoon adventures to the “astral male deers” at least twice a week. Been very easy to clean and replace the filter

Makes the best cup of coffee
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Breville without the bean crusher and this changes the game. Every cup is so fresh and full of flavor. Whether I want a latte, espresso or coffee, it does a great job. The milk frother is a little loud as it makes pressure but the results are so worth it!

Great investment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fed up with shelling out too much for a cup of latte at cafes, I opted to invest in an espresso machine. Now, I can enjoy a comforting cup of coffee right at home! This machine is a breeze to use and clean, plus the coffee it brews is absolutely delicious. The only downside is that it's a tad on the heavy side.
