Undoubtedly this is a great entry-level espresso machine. It seems to be very durable, strong, and of excellent overall quality. In my opinion, it offers a good compromise between a fully automated versus an entirely manual process. If maintained properly, I'm sure it will last for many long years. Brewing coffee on this machine will require a fair amount of time to learn and use, but the result will make it worth it. If used correctly, it will make excellent espressos and lattes. The only con that I have with this machine is the steamer. While it creates excellent foaming and texture with the milk, it takes some time to produce the needed steam pressure. The maintenance process also takes time, but it is expected for these types of machines. Overall, I'm delighted with this product.

Bought this for my girlfriend who LOVES her espresso and I love saving money and this machine has helped me do just that. It’s very beginner friendly and makes great espresso even when you aren’t very adept at puck prep. Would 100% recommend for somebody looking to get into coffee making

I can finally make coffee shop quality drinks at home. After buying this, I was very excited to go purchase all different types of beans and syrups, since I could make really good drinks and finally taste the flavor in the beans. Very easy to learn how to use.

I've had my eye on this Breville espresso machine for several years now and I finally mustered up the courage to purchase it. It was worth the buy! Everything was in the box, the instructions walked me through setting up my machine perfectly and I followed everything exactly as written. I bought the unit yesterday, and I was able to make my first latte today and it was the tastiest and freshest espresso I've ever made! As long as you maintain and clean your unit often, it will continue to work beautifully.

This machine is perfect for a person who loves coffee. I haven’t been to a coffee shop since I got this machine. And yes, it takes time and learning with practice makes perfect and I’ve definitely enjoyed the process still but no complaint so far and I love that. It came with a funnel and tablets. Every morning I make 2 coffee drinks, one for me and one for my wife. A Caramel Latte and an americano, takes less than 5 minutes. Took a few days to dial in the grinder and dose, but it came with appropriate tools to adjust the grounds to the correct dose. I highly recommend this, I have completely forgotten about Starbucks, and save $15 every day. The ROI on this machine will only take a few months, and I’m excited about that.

Best Espresso Machine I have ever owned. This is a life savior for me. I can’t think of how much money I have spent out there on coffee. Now, with this high quality espresso Im saving a lot and the quality of the coffee is so great that I don’t need to go out to get coffee. I rather make an espresso at home than anywhere else. If you can afford one, I can honestly say that this is a great espresso machine and will make your life a lot easier and comfortable. Easy to use and setup, makes great espresso even if you aren't an expert. Very little maintenance- just run a cleaning tablet through a couple of times per year. Can use any whole bean or grounds.

Coming up two years since i bought this from best buy. No issues. We use it 4-5 times a week. it is easy to clean and operate. We love making our own coffee in the mornings.

Love love love my Breville! It’s a real treat to wake up on a weekend morning and make myself a cappacino. Still trying to master the foam, but I’m sure that will come with practice. Struggled a bit initially setting things up, I had a less fancy Breville espresso maker in the past and it was pretty much good to go from the box. This one is different with a lot more bells and whistles. there is no denying the learning curve - but once I managed to bridge the gap - there’s no going back!

The Breville Barista is an excellent entry-level machine, boasting a top-notch built-in grinder. For those new to the espresso scene, adjusting the settings can be a tad challenging, but with perseverance and some experimentation, you'll be crafting perfect shots in no time. The milk frother is an added gem; once you get the hang of it, the results are delightful. One minor drawback to note is the 15 to 20-minute wait for the machine to reach its prime, ensuring the best espresso experience.

Use this espresso machine almost for 3 years and had no issues, I’m just in love with my coffee now , mostly drink iced and it goes perfect for me, once you adjust all the settings you will fell in love with this machine. This machine is not for everyone because you have to make this espresso shot with good amount of pressure and also right now when I have a baby this machine makes mess on the table because you have to gring coffee and then make it to perfect height and it goes all over the place, just grounded coffee is everywhere and you need to clean it after each use, but , I really like this machine, and how my coffee tastes

i've been really enjoying this machine! it makes espresso that tastes exactly like my local coffee shop. the only problem i've had is every now and then the shots dont come out. like a few drops are made and that's it. it might just need to be cleaned, and it dosent happen often but something to note. i wish it came with shot glasses too. mugs are too tall to be put under the espresso dispenser. Great product for the price:)

Very nice looking machine and easy to operate. Accessories such as the dosing funnel is a must as it keeps everything nice and tidy.

Absolutely love this! Breville makes awesome appliances. Not only are they classic looking and well made, but easy to operate and clean as well. This makes the best espresso. I love that you grind fresh beans in the same machine. It was expensive but worth every penny. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I’ve had this for a few weeks and it’s been great. I enjoy all the features to include dialing in the grind from the side adjustment and burr adjustment. I would recommend finding a local fresh coffee bean roaster and or order fresh beans online. The main reason I purchased this appliance is because I was spending $6 a day on coffee. It’s fun being able to customize my own drink flavor and use separately bought tools like a better tamper, a WDT, and a distributor. Well done Breville!
