Easy to setup and makes great expresso! We absolutely love it.

Makes a great espresso. My only complaint is that no matter what I do I cant get a cup made in the 'ideal' meter range on the front. None the less its easy to use, consistent, and my wife and I love it.

I was fortunate enough to buy this on sale and I’m glad I did. I have stopped drinking coffee altogether and only make lattes now. The machine does require some research and practice to use. If you don’t have the time to learn and the patience, this won’t be the machine for you.

I love this machine, I only make lattes at home now. The only recommendation would be to get the upgraded model (a little more expensive) because that one has less manual work involved

Works very well; occasionally the steamer doesn't flow and has to be turned off and on again. Love the integrated grinder. Hard to access water reservoir on kitchen counter because of overhead cabinets so I have to move it forward to refill. Directions aren't very good but once you figure it out, it is easy. Worked great out of the box. Glad I finally bought it!

Excellent espresso machine. If you never made and espresso before (like me), this machine can be a little intimidating. Easy to use once figured out. Sturdy. The built in grinder is a plus plus if you dont have one. Highly recommend!!

AWESOME! I LOVE MAKING MY COFFEE EVERYDAY!!!!!! I watched a video on YouTube on how to use and it’s not hard at all. The lattes come out fire!

After trying several major brands, I settled on my first Breville (same model) three years ago. It is still working great and makes an exceptional cup of coffee, cappuccino, or espresso every time. When I recently bought a lake house, I purchased my second one.

I had originally purchased a Brim 19 Bar Espresso machine in Summer 2019. That machine worked for less than a year when the steam pipe completely gave out. Luckily, i had purchased the extended service plan, which I used toward the purchase this Breville espresso machine (about a month ago). I had the Breville machine for a week at which point the steam completely stopped working. As with the previous machine, I returned the first Breville machine and exchanged it for a new one. Now I have had the second Breville machine for almost three weeks. It works fine except that the coffee grinder sometimes needs a shake or a tap to get coffee to move through it smoothly. Give this issue, I am not sure how long the built-in grinder will last. As for the rest of the machine, it seems to work pretty well. It definitely makes good espresso and steams milk well. Given my experiences to date, I am not sure I have the confidence that this Breville machine will stand the test of time. I feel that these machines are designed to work for a limited period of time and then they just break. I hope I am wrong about that. Regardless of which machine one chooses to purchase, I would not go without the extended service plan. If anything goes wrong, insurance is important because these machines are expensive and buying another one is not cheap. Let’s hope this one lasts for a long time...

I bought this for my mom as a Mother's Day gift & she absolutely loves it! She uses it every morning & she says it was super easy to set up & use. Thanks Breville!

Great machine. Unfortunately did not meet the needs of our office but I would highly recommend for a smaller office or home use.

Once you get the device set up and the settings established, it is easy to use and clean. And looks great on the countertop!

There’s a bit of a learning curve (at least there was for me), but after you figure it out, you’ll never look back! Well worth it.

I’m loving my Breville Barista Express but getting it dialed in was a nightmare due to “factory settings”. I’m a seasoned barista and let me just tell you before you buy that it’s going to take some time and beans to get this thing to extract correctly. I started with the factory settings which gave me 0 pressure. I’m using FRESH roasted espresso beans btw (this is what you want for the best extract) I had to go through and take my grinder apart to change my burr setting and meticulously gauge in my grind as well. Right now I’m at a 4 burr , alittle under 3 grind and it’s perfect.

This espresso machine is a powerful one for being entry level, i will say that you need to be patient with your self if your new to tamping and such. buy cheap fine grounds to learn how to tamp with to start and then buy your snarky special beans to fully get your moneys worth. no complaints. just be patient with learning to pull your shots.

Great coffee machine love it, Recommend recommend to anybody drink a lot of coffee. It’s money saver.

My day starts by hearing this machine every single day. I dont drink coffee at all. It is beautiful and fancy on my counter. It seems well constructed. THere are no issues we have had with it. All that matters is my wife wanted it, and I bought it for her. She seems to love it, and it seems to be easy to clean.
