The built in tamper is a great feature that makes it easy to adjust for different types of beans.

I didn't want something that was going to be hard to use. I've stop using the coffee pot and just make espresso everything now.

We have been using our unit for up to 3 lattes a day for 2 years with absolutely no issues. Maintenance is very simple. Registering the product gets you freebies as well!

Turns out there is an internal leak coming from the bottom of the entire machine. I looked at best buy return policy and missed it by 5 days. My last breville machine broke but i had it for 5 years not less than a monthy. My breville airfryer broker after a year but they replaced it via the warranty. I’ll have to make a breville case to have this fixed now and not even having it for very long. All this to say is i think Breville might be cutting corners.

My last Breville was the model below this and a little less expensive and worked flawlessly for 5+ years, maybe more Wasn't sure about the extra features on this model but have grown to really like the automatic dosing capability as it ensures a very consistent expresso shot. I dont use the steaming wand as I have a separate unit for that as I'm not fond of cleaning it and my frothy milk is ready when the shots are dispensed. I highly recommend Breville as its the best value on the market and ive had more, and less, expensive unis.

This Breville model is comparable and works much better. Great product.
