Love this machine. Replaces my french press and i have not missed it. The shots of espresso are delicious, and the option to make cappuccino or a latte is phenomenal.

Before having this espresso machine I had a previous version of this one, the one that doesn't tamper the coffee. I will never go back after having the Impress. A little learning curve, but once you get the best grind for the beans, you will always get a great espresso shot. Love it!

This is an amazing machine, i have a regular coffee maker and another one with pods and those ones are great for making very quick drinks, less than a minute with the cups and around 3 min for the big pod for 4-5 pods, the expresso will take around 2.minutes for each mug. But the smell and taste is greater by far. If you have the money and you are a coffee drinker please give an opportunity to this gorgeous machine.

I had tried many different coffee makers and spent a fortune on them, and never found what I really was looking for. A great cup of coffee. But then we went to a friends house for Christmas and this is the one they had and it made a perfect cup of coffee. They bought it at a different store but I was very happy with Best Buy so I purchased it there. Every day I enjoy a perfect cup of coffee!

My wife and I are not fluent in the art of Espresso making, but we do like to sip it. So stepping up to a machine as highly rated as the Breville Barista Express Impress was a pretty big step. Sadly, it has not been all good. Our first machine would not automatically dose the coffee. Breville Customer Service worked with us on a video call and after going through a long process trying to get the dosing working correctly, finally decided we had a defective device. They arranged a replacement to be sent and we packed-up the old one to send back. Prepaid shipping to Breville, so that was nice. The replacement unit has exactly the same issue... So we went back through the troubleshooting without help from Breville, with the same result. Nothing we tried fixed the problem. But I can't really get myself to return a SECOND time, so we are just going to use the machine and dose the coffee ourselves, it's a 15-20 second process, so not a deal breaker. But it's sad that two machines with exactly the same issue arrived. If you check online, you will find that this issue is quite common... I noticed that when we were shopping for this machine, but decided that only bad news gets reported, not the good news, and the balance of the reviews were very positive. So we bought one. In the meantime, the Espresso we make for ourselves is REALLY good! So it's not too bad to have this minor inconvenience.

What can I say its awesome. If you already have the funds for it, or already decided on spending the money, just get it

Easy to use out of the box. It does use a lot of water and the tray seems to fill up quite rapidly with dailyuse. Id say the only down side is having to kick on the steamer to let it warm up before you steam your milk. The grinder is a bit inconsistent but thats an easy fix.

This thing is super simple to use and makes wonderful espresso. It’s intimidating at first but actually easy when you get this one with the auto tamper. I’m well caffeinated all the time!

This machine is great! You have to get it tuned to get a precise shot pull but once you do it is amazing. I would recommend any coffee drinker get one of these instead of wasting money at shops.

Awesome machine, love it! Not a big fan of the auto grind option. Prefer the older one.
