My wife loves it and it makes really great coffee. I dont use it every day and its pretty finnicky if you dont become an expert so mine arent as good as my wifes.

An excellent little espresso machine. We love that the tamp and grind system makes it easy to make consistent espresso shots. The app for maintenance and service also provides easy walk throughs for cleaning and maintenance.
Would give it 5 stars, but after 1 year of ownership an internal leak formed and water started to pool at the base from the back right of the machine. This is after daily use, with proper care and maintenance. Unfortunately this past the manufacturer's warranty.
Luckily purchased geek squad and am currently going through the process.

I purchased back in December but recently just got a warranty replacement. The grinder kept getting jammed so I called support and was told not to use dark beans due to the amount of oil. Couple of things on that… the beans I were using weren’t super oily. Also, for a $900 machine you would think it would be able to handle dark roasted beans! Other than that, my wife and I really enjoy it. We use it every day.
You may use almost any beans you wish. However, the more oil content the bean has, the more frequent cleaning that will need to be done. One can be as diligent as possible about brushing/vacuuming the grinder and grind chute, but depending on the oil content of your beans, oils can remain. Those can cause grinds to clog the chute, or can gum up the burrs or chute.

We decided to get this because of the features that make it easier to dial in. We are coffee snobs a bit, but the espresso subculture and complexity of dialing in a perfect shot seemed sometimes a bit much for us. The Express Impress takes out much of the work, and we are pulling delicious shots every time. Love it!
