Customers love the Barista Express Impress Espresso Machine for its ability to make high-quality espresso and its ease of use. Many appreciate its overall performance and design. However, some customers have experienced issues with the grinder getting jammed, and others feel the frothing pressure could be stronger.

Its a really good product. you would think with the handle it would be less mess then the other models. but its not. other then that its pretty good. but I dot know if its a forever type of thing.

The product works as it intended. I had to adjust the grind size multiple times to get the right pressure for the espresso. Little hard to clean up, but I am enjoying it so far

Generally like this espresso maker. Did not get the single shot basket. Some in our home find the milk steamer/foamer difficult to use and tough to have it produce foam.
Inconsistent Dial-in costs coffee, money and time.

Although this machine adds character to our kitchen, for a $900 espresso machine, it was exceedingly costly to dial-in. I used freshly roasted beans from a local coffee shop (Light, medium and dark), adjusted internal grinder from factory (6 to 4) and tried different levels from ground to coarse. 18g of coffee beans was what I used throughout the dial-in process. Often times I had to use the razor to shave off excess grounded coffee. The pressure gauge, flow of espresso, pour timing and fluid grams produced were awfully imbalanced. I went through 4 12oz coffee bean bags each bag costing $20. A little over 2 gallons of water to attempt and perfect what I thought this machine was intended and manufactured for. Out of 18.5 double shot pours 3-4 pours would fall in the “espresso quality “ out of 18g of whole beans producing 36g combined of espresso and creama between 20-30 seconds. Unacceptable.

The Breville aka the brewville is amazing. I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift and she really loves how the side handle automatically crushes the beans. Also the machine is very user friendly. We really love the fact the barista tells you exactly how much beans need to be in your portafilter (or bracket handle) rather than just guessing. The machine will literally tell you if there is to much beans or to little in order for you to get exactly what kind of espresso you want. The machine also allows you to manual dispense the beans to your liking as well, however for beginners I think it’s cool how it basically helps you learn how to make espressos. Overall great machine.

The frothing pressure is never strong enough. We have even contacted breville customer service to walk us through everything, and the pressure is still weak.

It's a really good product. But it's hard to use unless you're a professional.
