Machine did not work as expected, very low pressure, suggested test with doble wall filter and black plastic cap fail. Open case on breville support but they not respond. I trying hard to avoid return this machine but look that I don't have another option.

This machine is the worst. Buying it is a waste of money. I don't recommend it at all. Less than 6 months of use according to the instructions and recommendations, and it still broke. The worst coffee maker ever created.

I bought this for my wife and between her and my daughter they both love it. I daughter has worked with some commercial machines and says this one is really nice. While I don't drink coffee I have used it also and it is very easy to make good coffee.

So a year ago , I bragged about this machine, and would recommend it to everyone, but after 8 months of use, it began to give fair to poor tasting coffee, we cleaned it, descaled it, changed to various coffee brands and made sure the coffee was fresh beans but it didnt matter. We also noticed about 8 months later that the pressure gauge also stopped moving and working and we think it has alot to do with the taste. We even used filtered water and changed the water filter in the coffee machine often.
Im so disappointed we spent close to $1000 on a machine that barely lasted a year. I wouldnt waste your time with this one.

The machine meets our needs. We had problems with the first one and had to exchange it for another. It didn't apply pressure when making espresso.

This was the worst purchase ever. I am two months into my initial purchase, and I have already gotten a factory replacement from Breville because the grinder stopped working after a day of use. While the replacement machine seemed fine and functional the first night, the grinder stopped working again the next morning, exhibiting the same issues (loud noise as if something became loose in the machine; grinder is unfixable even after thorough cleaning the the vacuum) which Breville themselves deemed to be manufacturing defect. Please, save yourself the headache and avoid this machine. BestBuy was also extremely unhelpful and refuse to assist me.
