Easy to use for beginners. A bit of a learning curve to get it just right but once you have it set it is easy to pump out fresh espresso each day.

Spent a little time watching YouTube videos on set up and once I found the perfect grind time, coffee is delicious. Would definitely recommend this product.

Exactly what I wanted after using one at my son's house. Easy to use and clean. Makes the best coffee, espresso or cappuccino. You can even use any regular grind coffee as it has a separate basket just for that.

This is the second Breville Barista model I have owned. The first one lasted just over two years. I followed all of the suggested maintenance steps and it still failed to work one day. (I did not buy that one on Best Buy though). The worst thing about Breville is their customer service -- be it via chat (no help), email (no responses) or phone (no answer) -- is essentially useless. What's even more surprising is that there are no service locations anywhere near me. (And I live in the SF Bay Area). Now, I bought this product because (1) I did like my previous one while it worked, and (2), my company gives its employees money for household items that make remote work easier. So I purchased this one from Best Buy, opting for the 2 year Geek Squad service plan. Despite doing everything you are supposed to do to keep the machine running well, it's now died 11 months after purchase. I will take advantage of the service plan and see if it can be repaired. Note that I'm giving this model 2 stars because it hasn't lasted. When it worked, it made great coffee and steamed milk efficiently. I suppose I'd liken it to a luxury car model with a poor reliability record.

Been using an Barista Express for years, but wanted a little more from my espresso machine. Though not a real upgrade from it, it works better for me. Grinder has more adjustable settings vs Express, also has lower bar pressure at head for better espresso. Quicker to warm up, but must run water only shots to warm everything up before making espresso shots. Also quicker to steam milk than Express model. If it were not on sale at time of purchase, I would not have gotten it to replace the Barista Express. If you are trying to choose between the two models and this is your first machine, I would get the Pro model if it’s in your budget. Great all in one machine. The Express model is good, but after using it and learning more about how to make good espresso shots, it left me wanting more, but if you only make milk based drinks, the Express model is very good.

Takes some practice, some YouTube videos and some local fresh beans but once you get it you’re making some great tasting breakfast drinks quite quickly and easily. I wish I would have saved up a bit more and got the barista touch version.

This has been one of the best coffee makers I've used in a little while, It makes some really good espresso. I used to work at Starbucks and used to use their $20,000 machines and this thing is about 85% there when it comes to the quality they have. But the taste is 98% there

Sold my original Breville and upgraded to this one and very happy with all the functions as well as the quality of the Espresso. Very east to use after you experiment a bit to get the grind size and the tamp pressure just right.

I love this machine. You will have to learn how to use it and tune it to your taste but the booklet that it comes with tells you what you need to know and they have videos online. It's worth every penny to me.

This has changed my world…. I can’t believe I actually prefer this to Starbucks which I used to go to several times per week. The iced lattes I make turn out so much more rich and creamy than Starbucks and taste way better. Easy to use once you get your dosing, temp, & beans down. I buy Blonde espresso beans from Starbucks as they are made fresh weekly. So worth the purchase, highly recommend!

We've had it a month and no complaints so far. Transitions between espresso and steam is quick. Grind can be timed or manual, and is easy to adjust. As others have stated in reviews... the grinder can be a bit messy depending on the bean, but grinding can be paused to minimize mess. There are a lot of great videos online to support set up and dialing in the perfect espresso settings.

I enjoyed this product. I have saved a lot of money by just making my own coffee rather than buying in Starbucks. It makes the same coffee as what i can buy in coffee shops. The build quality is great as well!
